Depaulo Eliminated By Zullo

Ryan DePaulo

Action was recapped by the table. Ryan Depaulo raised to 1,100 preflop in early position and action folded to Mark Zullo in the big blind who raised to 4,200, which Depaulo called.

The flop came out     which Zullo bet 3,500 into, and was met by a raise to 11,500 from Depaulo which Zullo called.

The turn came an   and Zullo checked to Depaulo who went all-in and Zullo snap-called.

Zullo had a full house and Depaulo only had one out for the royal flush for the win. The river came a brick and Depaulo was eliminated from the tournament.

Matusow Collects Small Pot

Mike Matusow

Mike Matusow raised from late position and only the button player called to see a     flop.

Matusow continued for 2,100, his opponent called and the   fell on the turn. Both players checked and then did the same after the   completed the board on the river.

Matusow quickly tabled    to win the pot with trip tens.

Badziakouski Five-Bet Shoves, Shows an Ace

Mikita Badziakouski three-bet to 3,500 from the button. Action folded around to the original raiser in early position, who four-bet to 11,100.

Badziakouski paused for about a minute before announcing he was all in for 63,500. Now it was his opponent's turn to tank as Badziakouski sat back in his chair, his hands resting on his legs while he stared straight ahead.

His opponent eventually folded after about four minutes. Badziakouski allowed him to pick one card to show, and his opponent picked the  .

"The good one," he said.

Greenberg Bets Big on the River

A player in early position raised to 1,500. Brian Rast called in the hijack and Steven Greenberg called on the button.

The flop came    . The action checked to Rast and he bet 1,800. Greenberg called and the original raiser folded.

Rast bet 5,000 on the   turn and was called by Greenberg.

The river came the  . Rast slowed down with a check. Greenberg bombed the river with a bet of 12,000.

Rast went into the tank for several minutes. He had calling chips in his hand but he eventually let it go.

Bonomo Scoops Up Much Needed Pot

Justin Bonomo

The action was picked up preflop when Justin Bonomo raised to 1,000 in early position and was called by two opponents.

The flop came     and the big blind checked to Bonomo who made a continuation bet of 1,000 and was only called by one player to the turn.

The turn was   and action was on Bonomo who continued to fire this time 4,000 leaving himself with only about 12 big blinds behind but his opponent mucked and Bonomo scooped in the much-needed pot.

River Bet Wins It for Montgomery

Kyle Montgomery in the small blind was in a heads-up pot against the player in the cutoff on a board reading       with just over 26,000 in the pot.

Montgomery led out with a bet of 18,000 and his opponent folded, sending a sizeable pot in Montgomery's direction.

The board read      on the turn, Mark Miele bet 4,000 and Pavel Plesuv called.

The river came the  . Miele bet again, this time for 10,000 which was enough to get Plesuv to fold and send Miele the nice pot.

Roberts Bets Trips the Whole Way

Brent Roberts was in the small blind and saw a flop of     against a player under the gun. Roberts bet the flop and his opponent called.

Roberts continued for 5,500 on the   turn and the under the gun player quickly called. On the   river, Roberts assembled a bet of 14,000 and put it in the middle.

His opponent didn't call quickly this time but studied the board for about two minutes before calling. Roberts turned over    for trip eights and his opponent mucked.

Marchese Shoves, Chidwick Loses One

On the flop     and 13,000 in the middle, Tom Marchese overbet jammed for 43,300 and forced a fold to win the pot.

Two tables over, Stephen Chidwick faced a bet of 5,100 on the river      . Chidwick gave his opponent a stare-down, before flicking in a chip. His opponent tabled    for a pair of aces and Chidwick mucked.

Jaffee Firing Away to Scoop the Pot

Jared Jaffee

The action was picked up on the turn with the board showing      and the player in the small blind checked.

Jared Jaffee, who was in the big blind, bet 7,600 and the small blind called after tanking briefly. The   turn was also checked by the small blind but that didn't stop Jaffee from firing again.

Yun Flops Full House to Score a Double

The player under the gun limped. Hyunshik Yun was next to act and he raised to 1,600. He was called by Christopher Puetz on the button both the blinds and the player who limped under the gun.

The flop came    . The action checked to Puetz who bet 2,300. The action folded back around to Yun and he made to call.

The turn card was the  . Yun check-called Puetz's bet of 5,000.

The   completed the board. Yun checked once more and Puetz moved all in. Yun called off his stack putting his tournament life at risk.

Amsellem Takes From Plante

Action preflop picked up when Maurice Amsellem three-bet Santiago Plante's preflop raise to a meaty 6,500. Plante responded with a four-bet to 16,000, which Amsellem just called.

Plante then led out on the     flop for 10,000 and got raised to 22,000 by Amsellem.

Plante gave up his hand at that point, and Amsellem gave him a courtesy showing of   .

Controversial Hand At Table 519

Cole Ferraro

Action picked up on the turn. Table mates recapped that the preflop action was Rafaelle Sorrentino raising to 1,000 preflop, Cole Ferraro and Michael Coombs calling from the cutoff and button. The big blind responded with three-betting to 7,200, which all the players called and the flop was seen four ways.

The flop came down     and the action checked through to the   turn where Sorrentino bet 9,400 and Ferraro called. Coombs responded by going all-in with the covering stack and the big blind folded. Sorrentino went into tank for three minutes before calling for his stack and Ferraro snap-called behind.

Coombs had both the players covered, but needed to improve to a full house on the river to win. Sorrentino was drawing to a nine for a straight and Ferraro had the best hand with a made jack-high straight. The river was the   and Sorrentino improved to the same straight and chopped the pot with Ferraro.

However, after the hand was finished there was some confusion about how much the dealer had pulled into the pot and after about 3 minutes, the floor was called. Play was halted at the table for roughly ten minutes while the table checked the surveillance tapes and eventually the stacks were counted out correctly and play continued.
