Wisbrod Folds After Raising River

In a three-way pot on a board reading      , Boris Kolev bet 33,000 as the first player to act and Barak Wisbrod raised to around 85,000.

Justin Bonomo folded on the button, bringing the action back to Kolev. Kolev re-raised all-in and Wisbrod threw his hands up before announcing a fold, leaving himself with just around 55,000 in chips.

Grafton Chips Up with Two Pair

With 13,500 in the pot and a     flop, Sam Grafton was in the big blind and check-called a 3,500 bet from Markus Gonsalves in the hijack.

The   turn saw Grafton bet 3,500 and Gonsalves call, and the   river brought a 16,000 bet from Grafton and a call.

Cimbolas Ousts Rabichow

With about 30,000 in the pot and a      board, Matas Cimbolas bet 10,000 from the big blind and Kevin Rabichow jammed from middle position. Cimbolas thought about it for a while and eventually called.

Markus Gonsalves was seen moving all-in for around 75,000 in a heads-up pot against Patrick Chi on a board reading      . Chi called with his opponent covered.

Gonsalves showed the goods with    for a full house and doubled-up in the first level of play on Day 2 as Chi mucked his cards.

Day 2 Of Event #56: $10,000 6-Handed No-Limit Hold'em Championship Almost Underway

Day 2 of Event #56: $10,000 6-Handed No-Limit Hold'em Championship will be underway shortly as part of the World Series of Poker as Abhinav Iyer looks to earn his second bracelet after bagging Day 1 as chip leader. Iyer is one of 113 players of 309 entries who made it through the first day of the six-handed championship.

Hallaert, who bagged a stack of 483,500, will be joined on Day 2 by fellow big stacks Kenny Hallaert (468,000), Matt Berkey (394,000) and Ian Steinman (360,500).

Joining the big stacks for Day 2 action will be many of the biggest names in poker, including Justin Bonomo, Stephen Chidwick, Maria Ho, Darren Elias and Adrian Mateos. Those who were not fortunate enough to make it to Day 2 include Joseph Cheong, Daniel Negreanu, Ali Imsirovic and Ryan Leng.

Day 2 commences at 2 p.m. Pacific Time and will play for ten 60-minute levels before breaking for the day. Players will take a 60-minute dinner break after Level 16, which is expected to end around 8:30 p.m.
