Abdien Sets Up Opponent for KO

There was heads-up action between Nabil Mohamed Abdien from the cutoff and his opponent from the button with a      board showing.

Abdien check-jammed after his opponent fired out 15,000 and they called off the rest of their 30,000 stack.

Deeb found himself on the wrong side of a cooler, but quickly found himself on the right side as the dealer spread the     flop. The   turn and   river changed nothing and Deeb doubled.

Ramos' Nut Flush Ousts Brewer

With about 20,000 in the pot and a completed board of      , Christopher Brewer bet 5,000 in the small blind. Felipe Ramos put in a stack of orange chips which was enough to put Brewer all-in. Brewer thought about it and eventually put in his remaining 18,000 chips.

Cowboys No Good for Salas

Damian Salas

Reigning WSOP Main Event Champ Damian Salas raised to 1,000 from the cutoff and Darren Elias three-bet to 3,000 from the button.

Action folded back around to Salas who four-bet to 6,800 and Elias called bringing about the     flop.

Salas check-called the 4,500 bet from Elias and the   turn followed by the   river were checked to showdown.

Salas showed    but it was no good as Elias held    to win the pot.

Yifrach's River Bet Gets Fold

With about 10,000 in the pot and a     flop, Gal Yifrach was in the cutoff and check-called a 3,500 bet from the button player.

Both players checked the   turn, and Yifrach fired out an 8,000 bet on the river. His opponent folded and Yifrach took the pot without a challenge.

Park check-called the 1,000 continuation bet from Villinas bringing about the   turn.

Both players checked and then did the same after the   completed the board on the river.

Park rolled over    for ace-high and it was good enough to win the pot after Villinas mucked his hand facedown.

Deeb Folds to Silver's Shove

On a     flop and about 13,000 in the pot, Freddy Deeb bet 4,000 from the big blind and Nathaniel Silver raised to 13,000 in the cutoff. Deeb called.

The   came on the turn and after Deeb checked, Silver jammed for Deeb's 30,000 effective stack.

Deeb thought about it and asked if he could rebuy, to which he was told no since it's a championship event.

After some more pondering, Deeb folded and then said, "The rebuy had nothing to do with it. I think you made the best hand."

Silver only said, "I had a good hand."
