Sandrock Doubles Through Montgomery

Chris Sandrock

Jeremy Ausmus bet 50,000 in a multi-way pot on a flop of     and found three callers to the   turn. After Kyle Montgomery, Jonathan Witz, and Ausmus checked, Chris Sandrock bet almost all of his remaining 430,000 chips. Montgomery raised enough to put Sandrock all in, while Witz and Ausmus got out of the way.

Le Takes Two in Quick Succession

Arthur Morris raised to 75,000 and was called by Tommy Le on the button and Artem Maksimov in the big blind. The     flop was checked to Le and his bet of 150,000 forced two folds, he tabled the    for the flopped straight.

Shortly after, Le opened to 80,000 and Michael Heritsch called on the button. Le bet 85,000 on the     flop for Heritsch to call and Le then bet the pot for 400,000 on the   turn, which resulted in the instant fold of Heritsch.

Butler Doubles Through Zack

Daniel Zack's stack has taken another significant hit after a recent pot that began three-ways, but ended up with a double-up.

Arthur Morris first raised to 80,000 in the cutoff, and got a call from Zack on the button. Ashly Butler then squeezed for the size of the pot in the small blind to 380,000, leaving himself just 60,000 behind.

Morris folded, but Zack opted to call, not yet putting Butler all-in.

On the     flop, Butler tossed in his last 60,000, and Zack called.

Butler's two pair were ahead of Zack's pair, flush draw, and gutshot.

The    completed the board, and Butler's superior two pair earned him a needed double-up and then some.

Up and Down for Ireland

In a three-way pot with Jonathan Witz and Chris Sandrock, it was Anderson Ireland who prevailed when they checked down the       river. His      made two pair and his two opponents mucked.

Ireland then limped the small blind and chip leader Jordan Spurlin raised to 90,000 for Ireland to call. The     flop was checked and Ireland bet the   turn for 100,000, picking up a call from Spurlin. He then also bet the   river for 250,000 and Spurlin raised to 525,000 in order to force an instant fold.

"I had a lot of outs, I had king ten of clubs," Ireland mentioned in table chat.

Morris Shows the Flopped Nuts

Artem Maksimov won a pot when he bet the     flop for 150,000 in the cutoff to chip up.

Arthur Morris then raised to 75,000 and was called by Tommy Le in the big blind. On a flop of    , Le check-called for 110,000 and then check-folded the   turn when Morris bet another 230,000. He was shown the flopped ten-high straight by Morris.

Sandrock Folds a Monster to Spurlin

Jordan Spurlin

Chris Sandrock fired a bet on the     flop, getting two folds while Jordan Spurlin called on the button. Both players checked the   turn and Sandrock bet the   river for 465,000. Spurlin took a few minutes before announcing a raise to 1,200,000 putting the pressure on Sandrock, who took some time of his own before showing the    for the nut flush and mucking his hand. Spurlin took down the massive pot and moved into the chip lead.

Maksimov's Full House Whacks Zack

Action picked up on the turn as Artem Maksimov check-called a bet of 50,000 from Daniel Zack on a board reading     .

On the river, the   fell, and Maksimov bet 150,000. Again, Zack called, and Maksimov turned over      for a victorious turned full house.

Dylan Linde Eliminated in 14th Place ($28,609)

Dylan Linde

Dylan Linde's stack was ground down to under 100,000 when he raised from the cutoff to 80,000, leaving himself just 15,000 behind.

Arthur Morris checked his cards in his 30,000 big blind and opted to raise to put Linde all-in. Linde committed the rest of his chips and they were off to see five cards.

Leonid Yanovski Eliminated in 15th Place ($28,609)

Daniel Zack limped in and Leonid Yanovski raised the pot for 135,000. Zack gave it some consideration and called to see a flop of     on which Zack bet the pot. Yanovski got it in for the last 345,000 and Zack called to set up the following showdown.

Short Stacks Clash

Preflop, Leonid Yanovski raised to 70,000 from the cutoff, and got shoved on by Ashly Butler on the button for 255,000.

The rest of the table folded and Yanovski gave it some thought. A call would cost him a little under half his remaining stack.

Ultimately, Yanovski opted to fold, and he then got a courtesy show of    from Butler.

Spurlin Doubles Through Sandrock

Jordan Spurlin

Jonathan Witz limped and Jeremy Ausmus raised to 110,000, which Chris Sandrock called and Witz folded. On the     flop both players checked and Ausmus then bet the   turn for 250,000, Sandrock folded.

Next, a four-way pot emerged to the     flop on which Sandrock in the cutoff bet 150,000. Anderson Ireland called on the button and Jonathan Spurlin in the small blind check-called. Ausmus check-folded and they headed to the   on the turn. Spurlin checked, Sandrock then bet what appeared to be 425,000.

That forced out Ireland but Spurlin jammed for 800,000 total to earn a reluctant call from Sandrock.

Ausmus Pulls Ahead of Witz

Three ways to the     flop with 110,000 each invested, Jeremy Ausmus in the big blind and Eli Elezra in the hijack checked. Jonathan Witz bet the pot for 365,000 in the cutoff and Ausmus then reraised the pot for 1.46 million. That represented essentially his entire stack and Elezra snap-folded.

Witz mulled over his decision for a while and came to the same conclusion, tapped the table and sent his cards into the muck.

Jonathan Witz had seen his stack dip below two million recently, but he got some back in a recent hand with Eli Elezra.

Leonid Yanovski tanked for a short period and Arthur Morris was about to call the clock on him. Yanovski then raised and claimed the blinds and big blind ante. Up next, Mike Matusow raised and folded when Yanovski potted.
