Sandrock Finds the Flush

Chris Sandrock and Jordan Spurlin both called in late position to see Artem Maksimov check his big blind option. The action checked around on the     flop, and Spurlin bowed out when Maksimov bet and Sandrock called the   turn. Maksimov then checked the   river, and took his time before calling Sandrock's bet of 325,000. Sandrock showed      for a flush, and Maksimov tapped the table before mucking his hand.

Chip Leaders Battle Again

Chris Sandrock limped from early position and Tommy Le raised to 200,000 from late position, Sandrock called.

On the     flop, Sandrock checked to Le who continued for 125,000. Sandrock called.

On the   turn, it was Sandrock taking the lead, firing out a quick 450,000, which gave Le some pause.

Le opted to fold as the two chip leaders are now sitting on virtually identical stacks.

Morris Doubles Through Sandrock

Arthur Morris

Arthur Morris raised under the gun and was called by Chris Sandrock in the next seat over. Morris checked the     flop, and Sandrock bet 375,000. Morris quickly moved all-in for 880,000 and Sandrock asked for a count before making the call.

Morris was in front with top two pair, while Sandrock trailed with top and bottom pair. The turn   and river   were no help to Sandrock, and Morris took the pot for a full double up.

Sandrock Nearly Closes the Gap to Le

Chris Sandrock had been the initial raiser in the cutoff and Tommy Le came along in the big blind. On the      turn it was Le who bet 375,000 and Sandrock quickly called. The back door flush draw arrived on the   river and Le opted to check.

Sandrock splashed in a bet worth 800,000 and Le folded after some consideration.

Spurlin Chips Up

Preflop, Jordan Spurlin limped in early position, Arthur Morris called in the small blind, and Chris Sandrock checked his big blind.

The trio checked a flop of    , then on the   turn, Morris quickly fired out 125,000. Sandrock folded, but Spurlin called.

On the river  , Morris now checked and Spurlin slid out a bet of 250,000. Without much consideration, Morris folded, awarding the pot to Spurlin.

Tommy Le and Anderson Ireland were heads up to the     flop, and Le check-called Ireland's bet to see the   turn. Ireland sent almost all of his chips into the middle to bet the pot, and Le raised the rest to put Ireland at risk.

Ireland showed a queen-high straight, but was trailing as Le turned over his king-high straight. The river   completed the board, ending Ireland's run in 9th place.

Le Whiffs All; Still Leads

Chris Sandrock raised to 110,000 in the cutoff and Tommy Le called in the big blind. The flop brought     and Le checked. Sandrock bet 280,000 and that won the pot right there.

Arthur Morris then raised to 140,000 with exactly 700,000 behind and Le called in the small blind, Eli Elezra in the big blind made it three ways to the     flop. Both players in the blinds checked and Morris made it 460,000 to go. A quick fold by Le followed and Elezra followed suit.

"I am zero for four, no pair and no draw," chip leader Le said after he dropped to just under four million in chips.

Maksimov Takes From Ireland

Artem Maksimov raised to 100,000 and Anderson Ireland called on the button to see the     flop. Maksimov threw out a continuation bet of 125,000 and Ireland called, bringing a   on the turn. Maksimov bet again and Ireland called the 300,000 chips, before both players checked the   river. Maksimov turned over      for two pair and raked in the pot as Ireland mucked.

Le Adds to His Chip Lead

Tommy Le

Four-ways to a flop of    , action checked to Tommy Le, who bet 110,000. Ashly Butler called, while Arthur Morris and Anderson Ireland folded.

Le and Butler both checked the   turn, then on the   river, Le bet 175,000 and got a quick call from Butler.

Le showed      for a jack-high flush and Butler mucked his hand.

With the win, Le is now solidly over four million in chips.

Michael Heritsch Eliminated in 11th Place ($43,601)

Michael Heritsch

Tommy Le raised from the button to 110,000 and got three-bet by Michael Heritsch in the small blind to 370,000. Artem Maximov folded the big blind, and Le instantly dropped a stack of 100,000 chips onto his original bet to put Heritsch all-in.

Heritsch gave it some brief consideration as he still had 505,000 behind, but then decided to call and put his tournament life at risk.

Jonathan Witz Eliminated in 12th Place ($35,007)

Jonathan Witz

Jonathan Witz limped from under the gun and another four players did so in order to see a flop of    . It checked to Witz and he bet the pot for 240,000 with some 80,000 behind. Chris Sandrock called and Eli Elezra in the small blind tank-called as well with exactly 300,000 behind.

The   followed on the turn and Elezra moved all-in, Witz called all-in and Sandrock snap-called to put two players at risk.

Witz needed to pair his king or eight to remain in contention while Elezra needed to avoid a spade. He did so thanks to the   river as Witz was eliminated in 12th place for $35,007. Elezra more than doubled as he earned the entire pot.

Sandrock Takes From Elezra

Four ways limped to the     flop, Eli Elezra in the big blind was the only one to check-call a bet worth 100,000 by Chris Sandrock in the cutoff. Elezra then checked the   turn and Sandrock now bet 325,000, which Elezra called once more.

Both checked the   on the river and Elezra announced "I have nothing" after he had missed a wrap and heart flush draw. Sandrock only had the      but that won the pot.

Sandrock's Double Leaves Witz Short

Jonathan Witz raised in middle position and found two callers in Chris Sandrock and Anderson Ireland. Witz continued betting on the     flop, and Sandrock moved his remaining chips into the middle. Ireland folded, and Witz called putting Sandrock at risk.

Butler Starts Well After the Break

Ashly Butler raised to 120,000 from under the gun and was called by Arthur Morris on the button and Jeremy Ausmus as the single big blind. On a flop of    , all three players checked and the action on the   turn was checked to Morris. He bet 225,000 and Butler was the only caller.

The two remaining players checked the   on the river and Butler's      earned the pot.

Butler then also scooped the next medium-sized pot in showdown against Tommy Le to further boost his stack.

Daniel Zack was just eliminated on the last hand before break in a massive three-way pot.

Action began with Artem Maksimov raising to 65,000 in the cutoff. Arthur Morris called on the button, then Zack three-bet to 250,000 from the small blind, leaving himself 400,000 behind. Both Maksimov and Morris called, and a huge pot was brewing.

The flop came    , and Zack moved all-in for his last 400,000. Maksimov them moved in over top for 990,000. Morris thought briefly, then chose to fold.

Zack was in trouble with just top pair and a backdoor flush draw versus Maksimov's three eights.
