Liu Ousted by Four-Deuce

Anthony Ortega raised to 125,000 from the hijack and JJ Liu jammed in her 425,000 stack from the cutoff. It folded back to Ortega who made the call.

Liu was ahead but Ortega had live cards. The     flop changed nothing, but the   spiked the turn to put Ortega ahead. Liu couldn't improve on the   river and the Women in Poker Hall of Fame member was eliminated from the tournament.

Vertes' Set of Kings Takes From Liu

With a raise in the cutoff and a call on the button, James Ward went all-in for 1,200,000 chips and was called by William Klutho in the big blind. The cutoff and button folded and the cards were tabled.

With a pot of 700,000 and a flop of    , Jeffrey Vertes checked from the big blind and so did Chris Brewer from early position.

Anthony Ortega raised under the-gun 80,000 and to his direct left, JJ Liu called. Dannah Kamp called from middle position and the big blind went all-in for 1.8 million. Ortega went all in for more and JJ Liu snap-called for 740,000. Dannah Kamp folded and the hands were turned over.
