Action folded around to Jason Glass in late position and he raised to 44,000. Mikael Johansson moved all in for 220,000 from the cutoff seat and when action folded back to Glass, he made the call. The players showed: Glass:     Johansson:     Despite flopping an inside straight draw, and turning a "double gutter," Johansson got no help from the           board and was eliminated in 141st place. Glass took down the pot and now works with a stack of just over 700,000 chips.

Albert Kim recently took a hit when he ran kings into aces. He got involved again in a three-way pot with Joe Bishop and James McManus. Bishop opened the pot for 55,000, a raise which Kim called. From the small blind, McManus made it 180,000. Bishop called that raise, only to see Kim reraise behind him for a total of 680,000. McManus and Bishop both folded. Without taking a flop, Kim increased his stack by over 360,000 chips.

Victor Ramdin opened the pot with a raise to 42,000. He was called by Nikolay Losev and Sylvain Coeur before recently crippled Deng Dong raised all in for a total of 50,000 from the big blind. All three players made the call for a four-way flop that came      . The action checked through to the   turn. Ramdin and Losev again checked to Coeur, who shoved all in for about 300,000. Ramdin went into the tank for several minutes before finally, reluctantly, folding his hand. Losev also got out of the way, allowing Coeur to take his 300,000 back and battle Dong for the main pot. Dong:     Coeur:     Dong showed a made flush against Coeur's turned two pair. The river   made Dong the winner and brought an exasperated groan from Victor Ramdin, who said he folded     and would have made a royal flush. Regardless, Dong quadrupled up to about 200,000.

Greg "FBT" Mueller has just arrived to the ESPN feature table area to observe the action, with Mike Matusow and Chino Rheem leaving their seats to go over and say hello. The three of them stood together offstage to have a conversation for a few minutes during a recent hand, and although we couldn't decipher anything that was being said it was rather humorous to observe that all three were constantly moving their mouths at the same time! I’m sure there was some sparkling conversation, but I wonder who was actually doing the listening in that threesome?

After a       flop, the last of Andy Schultz's 320,000 ended up in the middle as he'd flopped top pair with    . But Greg Byard had all sorts of outs holding    , and, after picking up even more outs when the   hit on the turn, Greg caught the   on the river to make his flush and knock Schultz out of the tournament.

Jeff Madsen was just all in for about 330,000 against Andrew Teng, who had him covered. Teng had   , and Madsen   . When the "all in and call" was announced, Mark Vos wandered over to have a looksee. The board ran out      , and Madsen's aces held up. "Boring," joked Vos, wanting to see a more interesting board that would make the players sweat. Madsen liked it just fine, though, and is now up to 690,000.

Owen Crowe has been very quiet so far today, so much so that he often goes unnoticed seated in between the fast-talking Chino Rheem and Mike Matusow. However, he recently got involved in some action with a raise preflop to 37,000. Phi Nguyen made the call, as did Cristian Dragomir from the small blind. The flop came     and Dragomir checked to Crowe, who fired out 66,000. Nguyen announced a raise, making it 216,000 to go. Dragomir thought for a long time before giving up his hand. Crowe made the call. The turn was the   and Crowe checked to Nguyen, who fired out a healthy 270,000 chips. Crowe deliberated and made the call. The river was the   and both players quickly checked. Albert Kim picked up cowboys at the wrong time. He raised to 45,000 from early position. Mark Owens popped it up to 145,000. Everyone else folded back to Kim, who raised enough to put Owens all in. He snap-called and tabled pocket rockets. Kim flopped a set, but so did Owens when the flop came down      . The turn and river fell    , allowing Owens' set of aces to hold up. He moves up to 970,000, while Kim drops down to 1,275,000.

It looked like Will Brewin was about to exit the tournament when he was all in before the flop with     to Deng Dong's     and the flop came      . But the   on the river gave Brewin an open-ended straight draw and the runner-runner came in as he spiked the   on the river double up to 325,000. Dong is now down to just 50,000.

It was just announced that at the start of today's play there were 26 countries being represented. The voice later announced that "65 percent of the remaining field is from the United States while 34 percent hails from a foreign country." While it was an obvious rounding error, many people couldn't help but notice that these numbers did not equal 100 percent. Amongst the chatter, ESPN host Ali Nejad was overheard jokingly asking "What, is there a Martian playing?"

An interesting battle just broke out of a flop of    . Sean Davis fired out 55,000 before Cristian Dragomir raised it to 133,000. Davis then reraised to a total of 253,000, and Dragomir put in yet another raise, making it 483,000 to go. Davis then immediately moved all in, and surprisingly Dragomir quickly folded. We'll have updated chips counts from the feature table at the break.

Darren Grant limped from under the gun, Peter Eastgate did as well behind him, then Felix Osterland raised to 50,000. It folded back around, Grant called, and Eastgate got out of the way. There was already 130,000 in the pot prior to the       flop and Justin St. John moved all in for his last 247,000 from the small blind. Chris Crilly called and it turned out that his     still held the lead against Crilly's    . The   on the turn gave St. John a few more outs as a king on the river would've counterfeited Crilly's pair, but the   fell on the river that brought an ended to Pittsburgher Justin St. John's Main Event run.

Jeremiah Smith has been eliminated from the Main Event. After Geert Jans opened the pot for 40,000, Smith moved his whole stack of 168,000 in from the small blind. Jans made the call with     and found out he was up against Smith's    . Jans outflopped Smith,      , to make two pair. Smith still had his set draw and a gutshot straight draw, but the   turn took away the straight draw. It hit on the river anyway when the river came  . Smith's Broadway straight wasn't as good as the queens full of aces held by Jans. Jans is now over 1.5 million in chips.
