That brings an end to a rapid-fire final table and the $1,000 Seniors No-Limit Hold'em World Championship. We saw a record 2,218 players take to the felt with Dan Lacourse emerging late on Day 2 to storm through the final table and capture his first WSOP bracelet and $368,832 in prize money. The tournament was played in great spirit and has been a pleasure to follow. Congraulations to all of our money winners and thanks for tuning in to our coverage!

2218 players started this Senior's World Championship. Dan Lacourse stayed the course and in the end survived the largest field in seniors World Series of Poker history. For his win, Lacourse will take home the bracelet and $368,832. Congratulations to Dan Lacourse, Senior's World Champion.

Preflop, Dale Eberle raised to 180,000 and Dan Lacourse made the call. On a flop of       , Lacourse checked and Eberle bet out 200,000. Lacourse made the call. On the turn of the   , Lacourse checked again and Eberle bet out 500,000. Lacourse then check-raised all in and Eberle made the call. Lacourse had Eberle covered. Lacourse:     Eberle:     Lacourse had a set of nines and Eberle had kings up. Only a king would win him the hand. The river fell the   and Lacourse became our Senior's World Champion! Dale Eberle is eliminated in 2nd place, winning $235,141.

The button is with Dale Eberle for the first hand after the break. Eberle folded and Dan Lacourse completed from the small blind. Marc Fluss checked his option from the big blind. They took a flop of     and Lacourse led with a bet of 160,000. Fluss then moved all in over the top for an additional 665,000 chips. Lacourse stood and thought for a few moments before announcing a call. Lacourse:    Fluss:    Fluss held top pair and the lead as Lacourse showed just a straight draw. The turn blanked the   but the   fell on the river. Fluss’ gallery cheered thinking that their man had won, but Lacourse defiantly yelled “straight!” to take down the pot and eliminate Fluss in third place for $156,424.

Marc Fluss opened with a raise to 150,000 before Dale Eberle made it 400,000 to go. The action folded to Fluss who thought for a long time before laying down his hand. Fluss flashed    while Eberle showed pocket sixes.

Fred Berger was under the gun and raised to 175,000. Dan Lacourse reraised to 375,000. It was folded back to Berger who went all in for 450,000 total and Lacourse made the call. Lacourse:     Berger:     Flop:       After the flop, Berger had to catch running deuces to win the hand. When the turn hit the  , Berger was drawing dead and became our 5th place finisher. He received $106,974 for his strong finish in this event.

The very next hand Jerry Yamachika limped from the cutoff before Marc Fluss raised it up to 300,000 from the button. Dale Eberle folded his big blind, and Yamachika thought for a moment before folding    face up. Fluss flashes    and his friends and family cheer on the rail as Fluss gathers momentum here at this final table!

The button was on Jerry Yamachika in Seat 9. It was folded around to Yamachika who raised to 100,000. Both Marc Fluss and Charles Wood called. On a flop of       , all players checked. When the turn hit of the  , Fluss checked and Wood moved all in for around 370,000. Yamachika folded and Fluss made the call. When Wood flipped over the    , Fluss clapped his hands and yelled out, "Yes!" Wood was drawing dead at this point. The river card of the   was irrelevant and Charles Wood became our 6th place finisher and will receive $84,771 for his efforts.

Jerry Yamachika has been pretty quiet today but is starting to accumulate some chips. In a recent hand he opened the action with raise to 100,000 with Dale Eberle and Fred Berger calling out of the blinds. The flop came     and the action checked to Yamachika and he fired out 100,000. Eberle folded but Berger check-raised to 300,000. Yamachika thought for a moment before making the call. The turn was the   and Berger slowed down and checked, allowing Yamachika to move all in for 320,000. Berger quickly folded and Yamachika scoops a nice pot to move to 1,250,000 in chips.

The last few hands have seen the action fold to the player on the button who put in a standard raise to take down the blinds and antes uncontested. The only unique hand was one where chip-leader Dale Eberle decided to mix things up with a preflop limp from under-the-gun. The action folded to Marc Fluss who completed in the small blind and Charles Wood checked his option. They took a flop of     and the blinds checked to Eberle who fired out a bet of 100,000 to take down the pot and extend his lead.
