Chip Jett eliminated Vladimir Shchemelev from the tournament making a set of 7's against Shchemelev's two pair (Kings and 8's); Shchemelev was all-in by fifth street. Dao Bac also lost a chunk of chips on the hand, when he called Jett's bet on sixth street with his two pair (9's and 3's); both Jett and Bac checked the river. The hand increased Jett's chip stack to 300,000 on the day. For his 6th place finish, Shchemelev received $20,793 in prize money.

Showing 4-6-Q-J, Raymond Davis took down 3/4 of the pot against Adam Geyer, whose upcards were 4-6-10-7. At the showdown, both Davis and Geyer revealed A-2-3 for Ace-high and shared the low with A-2-3-4-6. Davis' Queen kicker won him the high.
