Ruivo Jams Into Salas

The action folded to Damian Salas in the small blind and he made it 825,000 to go in the last hand of the level. Manuel Ruivo pushed after a few moments and Salas let go without any major consideration.

"We play a lot on the internet," Salas admitted in table chat and Ruivo smirked. Both then shared more laughter and the blinds moved up.

As has been the case previously, the lion's share of the hands ended preflop or on the flop throughout the level and four of the five contenders have now dropped below 20 big blinds.

Streda Pushes Once More

Marco Streda

Ramon Miquel Munoz raised to 550,000 and Damian Salas three-bet to 1.75 million on the button. Miquel Munoz gave it some consideration but got out of the way eventually.

Salas' stack was about to soar above 20 million and he also opened to 525,000 in the cutoff the next hand. Marco Streda then pushed out of the small blind and Salas asked for a count. The jam was for 2,975,000 and that proved to be too much for Salas.

Miquel Munoz Beats Streda in Showdown

Ramon Miquel Munoz

Ramon Miquel Munoz raised to 525,000 from under the gun and was called by Marco Streda in the big blind. On a flop of    , Streda opted to check-call for 400,000 and both players then checked the   on the turn.

Streda led the   river for 900,000 and Miquel Munoz gave him a stare down for a minute before making the call.

Streda revealed    for a pair of sevens and Miquel Munoz won the pot with    for the top pair.

"Good call," Streda said in table chat and further added "I thought about going all-in, maybe the better move than the 900."

Salas Wins Big Pot Against Botteon

Damian Salas made it 525,000 to go and Brunno Botteon defended the big blind to see a flop of    , on which both players checked. The   fell on the turn and Botteon now bet 450,000, which Salas called.

Botteon then opted to check the   on the river and Salas made it 1.5 million to go. Botteon, who was the only one with the T-500,000 chip denominations, then raised to 5 million and that sent Salas into the tank.

Eventually, Salas made the call and Botteon rolled over    for a pair of nines and busted gutshot. "Come on Damian," Salas pushed himself as he tabled    for the top pair to take a big lead.

Salas Into a Narrow Lead

Damian Salas raised to 500,000 and was called by Ramon Miquel Munoz in the big blind. The flop came     and Salas bet 250,000 to force a fold. That pot propelled Salas into the lead as he surpassed Brunno Botteon by a few blinds.

Streda Jams Twice

No further flop was in sight for the last couple of hands and Marco Streda bumped his stack to more than 20 big blinds once again.

The Swiss first got through via open shove and then jammed out of the big blind following a button raise by Damian Salas for 525,000. Salas asked for a count and the shove was deemed to be for 4.3 million total.

Salas carefully counted his available stack, eyeballed the other remaining contenders and let go.

Salas Nearly Closes the Gap

Brunno Botteon came along out of the big blind when Damian Salas raised and checked the     flop. Salas made it 400,000 to go and Botteon folded after very brief consideration.

Half a million of Salas' profit vanished when he forfeited the big blind, as Ramon Miquel Munoz once again got through with an open-shove from the button.

Miquel Munoz Pushes Twice

Ramon Miquel Munoz moved all-in from the button and chip leader Brunno Botteon in the small blind asked for a count. The shove was for 2.15 million and Botton reluctantly folded, as did Damian Salas in the big blind.

One hand later, Miquel Munoz pushed again, and this time that went through without any resistance.

Botteon claimed the blinds and big blind ante without showdown the very next hand when he made it 500,000 to go.

Raise and Take Its

In the first hand back from the break, Manuel Ruivo had the dead button and raised it up to 525,000. Marco Streda gave it some thought and opted to fold.

The action folded all the way to Manuel Ruivo in the small blind and he moved all-in to give Dominykas Mikolaitis in the big blind the option to fold or call. Mikolaitis opted for the latter for what appeared to be around 2.5 million and the cards were turned over.

Ruivo improved to a set on the     flop and Mikolaitis groaned. "Something fun, come on ... the four of clubs," he demanded. However, it was all over with the   turn and that made the   river a formality.

Damian Salas limped in from the small blind and Manuel Ruivo checked his option out of the big blind.

Ruivo Chips Up Some

Damian Salas raised to 500,000 from under the gun and Manuel Ruivo then three-bet to 1.8 million from one seat over, which represented essentially half of his stack.

All other players folded and Salas gave it some thought before electing to fold.

Salas was in the big blind next and checked his option when Brunno Botteon limped in. They checked to the       river, Botteon made it 225,000 to go and Salas folded.

Stoyan Obreshkov made it 900,000 to go in the cutoff with fewer than that behind and Damian Salas on the button re-raised to 1.75 million. The blinds got out of the way and Obreshkov called it off, then walked over to his friends on the rail after the cards were turned over.

Both players paired up on the     flop which kept Salas in the lead. The   turn brought some chop outs but Salas sealed the second knockout on the final table with the   river. Obreshkov has been eliminated in 7th place and takes home $160,512.

Some Pushes; No Calls

Dominykas Mikolaitis jammed up his stack without being called and then it was Ramon Miquel Munoz who open-shoved to steal the blinds and antes. Stoyan Obreshkov had raised for most of his stack once but wasn't able to chip up much either.

Damian Salas then raised to 650,000 in the small blind and Manuel Ruivo folded.

Streda Doubles through Mikolaitis

Once the action folded all the way to Dominykas Mikolaitis in the small blind who was in the eight seat, he glanced over to Marco Streda in the one seat with the dealer in between. "Around three million?" Mikolaitis inquired and Streda nodded.

The push of Mikolaitis followed and Streda checked his cards, then made the call.

Mikolaitis Pushes Into Salas

Damian Salas raised to 675,000 out of the small blind and won the big blind and ante off Manuel Ruivo, who dropped to approximately 20 blinds.

One hand later, Salas raised to 475,000 and Dominykas Mikolaitis pushed out of the big blind. Salas eyeballed the stack of his opponent for more than a minute without asking for a count but opted to fold instead.
