Hands #55-60: Bognanni Starts Three-Betting

Hand #56: Mitchell raised to 1,500,000 on the button and Axel Hallay called. The flop was     and Mitchell's continuation bet of 1,000,000 did the trick.

Hand #57: Marco Bognanni limped in on the button, Hallay completed and Mitchell checked for a family pot. The flop came down     and all players checked.

The   came on the turn and Hallay led out for 1,200,000, enough to win the hand on the spot.

Hand #58: Hallay raised to 1,200,000 on the button and Mitchell folded. Bognanni three-bet to 4,100,000 from the big blind and won the hand, accompanied by a roar from the slowly increasing Italian crowd.

Hand #59: Mitchell raised to 1,500,000 on the button and another three-bet from Bognanni, this time to 4,700,000 from the small blind. Mitchell wanted to see a flop and called in position.

The flop was     and Bognanni opted to check. Mitchell checked behind. The turn brought the   and Bognanni bet 3,200,000. Mitchell folded to move the Italian closer to the top spot.

Hands #50-53: Bognanni Getting Busy

Hand #50: Marco Bognanni called, Francois Evard called from his small blind, Robert Mitchell checked his option in the big blind, and the three players saw a flop of    . After Evard and Mitchell both checked, Bognanni bet 600,000, which only got a call from Mitchell. Both players checked the   turn, and after Mitchell checked the   river, Bognanni bet 2.1 million, which got a check-fold from Mitchell.

Hand #51: Evard limped and when Bognanni raised it up to 6.6 million, which was enough to put Evard all in, Evard mucked his hand.

Hand #52: Bognanni raised to 1.8 million, which was enough to steal the blinds and antes.

Hand #53: Mitchell raised it 1.4 million and Bognanni made the call. Mitchell continued for 2.1 million on the     flop, which Bognanni called. After Bognanni again called Mitchell's 3 million bet on the   turn, both players checked the   river. Mitchell tabled    and took down the pot.

Hand #45 Bognanni raised to 1,400,000 on the button and won the hand.

Hand #46 Bognanni raised to 1,400,000 under the gun and won another pot uncontested.

Hand #47: Francois Evard shoved all in for 10,200,000 on the button and won the hand.

Hand #48: Bognanni raised to 1,800,000 in the small blind, Hallay three-bet to 5,000,000 and Bognanni folded.

Hand #42: After Marco Bognanni limped and Robert Mitchell called from his small blind, Benjamin Underwood checked his option from the big blind. After all three players checked the turn on a board reading     , Mitchell checked again and Underwood put out a bet of 900,000, which got a call from Bognanni and a fold from Mitchell,

On the   river Underwood led out again, this time for 3 million, and was met with a raise to 5.2 million from Bognanni, which would put Underwood all in if he made the call, which he did.

Underwood had turned the straight, but unfortunately for him, he was drawing dead to Bognanni's flopped full house. Amazingly, this was Underwood's 2nd final table in two weeks. He previously finished in 4th place in Event #9: $600 No-Limit Hold'em Deepstack at this year's WSOP.
