Chen Gets Mizrachi to Fold

Robert Mizrachi

Matthew Gonzales opened 625,000 first to act and he picked up a call by chip leader Stephen Chidwick in the big blind. The flop fell     and Chidwick check-folded to a bet of 325,000 by Gonzales.

James Chen raised to 625,000 from the cutoff and Robert Mizrachi called on the button. The flop came     and Chen fired a continuation bet of 425,000, Mizrachi came along and they headed to the   turn. Chen bet 1,100,000 and Mizrachi called to create a pot of 4,675,000 to the   river.

Chen's third barrel was worth 2,200,000 for just under half the pot and he had about as much behind, which sent Mizrachi into the think tank. After more than two minutes in the think tank, Mizrachi asked Chen whether or not he would show if he folds, but didn't receive an answer.

"You are probably bluffing, this sucks," Mizrachi continued and double checked his cards once more before sending them into the muck.

"You will see on the stream," Chen replied while he dragged in the healthy pot and separated himself from Mizrachi with five players remaining.

In the next hand, Alex Epstein limped the small blind and James Chen checked from the big blind to see the     flop free of charge. Epstein checked and Chen made it 300,000 to go, which Epstein called.

On the   turn, the action went check, check, and the   river completed the board. Epstein placed a bet of 350,000 and Chen surrendered.

Matthew Gonzales

Stephen Chidwick raised to 750,000 at the new blind level and Matthew Gonzales re-raised all in for 1,100,000 from the next position.

Korkis then called out of the small blind, Seidel folded and Chidwick called the extra 350,000.

With over 4.5m chips in the middle and Gonzales all-in, the flop came    . Korkis checked and Chidwick bet 1,000,000. Epstein took his time, asked how much was in the pot, and raised to 2,800,000. Korkis folded and action was on Chidwick.

A Champion Will be Crowned in Event #45: $25,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller

Alex Epstein in contention for 2nd bracelet in 2019

At 12 p.m. local time, the final seven players out of a record-breaking field of 278 entries will take their seats on the main stage of the Amazon room and determine a champion in Event #45: $25,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller. The most-prestigious Omaha event of the year once again set a new attendance record for the fifth year running and the lion's share of the $6,602,500 prize pool is still up for grabs.

Two seven-figure paydays are on the line and the biggest top prize of the 2019 World Series of Poker so far will be awarded, as today's eventual winner at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino will receive $1,618,417 and the highly-prized gold bracelet.

British poker professional Stephen Chidwick is in prime position to claim his maiden WSOP bracelet, having amassed more than $2.2 million in WSOP cashes across 52 results. Chidwick enters the final day of his very first WSOP event of the summer with a stack of 12,975,000 good for a massive lead over almost all of his remaining opponents.

He is followed by Alex Epstein with 10,800,000, who only has one WSOP result to his name so far and kicked off the summer in Las Vegas with a victory in Event #8: $10,000 Short Deck No-Limit Hold'em. Robert Mizrachi will be railed by his family at the final table and will aim for his fifth bracelet to once again 'get even' with brother Michael Mizrachi. Robert Mizrachi starts third in chips with 5,525,000.

Another familiar face on the international poker circuit is Erik Seidel. The eight-time WSOP champion scored two late double ups on Day 3 to secure his seat for the final showdown and will return to 2,950,000, good enough for 15 big blinds when the action resumes.

Wasim "Wes" Korkis (4,225,000), James Chen (3,100,000) and Matthew Gonzales (1,100,000) will seek their first WSOP bracelet and the bragging rights that come along with it. Korkis is primarily known as a cash game player and entered his first major PLO tournament. Chen also has plenty of experience at mixed games and high stakes cash games, and Gonzales reached his second final table of the summer after finishing 7th in Event #29: $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. Championship.
