On a flop of    , Mueller check-called a bet and did so again on the   turn. Mueller then led the   river and Sammartino called to get shown    for top and bottom pair by Mueller. Sammartino had    for top two pair and claimed a nice pot.

Dario Sammartino raised and Scott Clements put his last 205,000 into the middle out of the small blind. Greg Mueller joined the contest and he and Sammartino then checked all the way to the showdown.

Ospina Takes From Sammartino

Dario Sammartino raised the button and Daniel Ospina three-bet the small blind, which Sammartino called. On the     flop, Ospina bet and Sammartino raised to pick up a call from Ospina.

After the   turn, Ospina check-raised Sammartino and forced a fold.

Scott Clements completed, Daniel Ospina called and Clements paired his seven on fourth. Ospina called another bet and then raised on fifth to put Clements all in for last 365,000. Clements called but the pot was eventually chopped as Clements finished with a boat while Ospina held a six-low.

On the very next hand, Ospina took another shot at eliminating Clements in a hand of limit hold'em. They got it in preflop with Ospina holding ace-seven versus ace-four but Clements was able to squeeze out a chop on the river which paired the board.

Clements checked again sixth and called a bet by Mueller before leading seventh. They checked fifth street where Ospina's board paired and Clements fired on sixth where he spiked a pair of nines. Ospina called and fired one more bet when Clements checked the river. Clements looked him up but Ospina had a five among his hole cards, taking the pot with three of a kind.

Daniel Ospina was the bring in and Scott Clements completed, Dario Sammartino called and Ospina came along. Clements bet fourth and Sammartino called, while Ospina got out of the way.

Sammartino paired his eight on fifth and bet, Clements raised and Sammartino made it three bets to receive a call from Clements. The remaining two streets were bet by Sammartino and Clements called down, but couldn't beat the     for trip eights by Sammartino.

The Italian stormed back into a comfortable lead.

Scott Clements raised from the cutoff, Greg Mueller called on the button, and Dario Sammartino joined them to the flop from the big blind. The dealer rolled out     and Mueller fired in position. Sammartino check-raised and both Clements and Mueller called.
