Dario Sammartino claimed the big blind of Daniel Ospina to win some chips and chipped up even further soon after. In a single-raised pot against Greg Mueller, they checked the     flop and   turn. Mueller bet the   river and Sammartino called.

The cards of Mueller were not shown, but Sammartino had the winner in   .

Sammartino Downed to Three Bets

Dario Sammartino called, Daniel Ospina completed, and Sammartino called again. Ospina fired on fourth and Sammartino called and the action reversed on fifth street with Ospina calling.

No bets were made on sixth but Ospina fired one last shell on the river. Sammartino took his time and then tossed in calling chips. Unfortunately for him, he didn't make a low and mucked his hand upon seeing Ospina show two pair, sixes and threes.

Mueller checked when the   paired the board and Sammartino took the betting initiative. Mueller called and then checked the   river. Sammartino fired one last shell and Mueller let his hand go, much to the excitement of the Italian rail.

Dario Sammartino raised on the button, Greg Mueller called and they saw the     land on the flop. Mueller checked, Sammartino bet, and Mueller raised. Sammartino called and the   hit the turn.

Mueller checked and Sammartino fired. Mueller leant back in his chair and shook his head. After a little bit of thought, he raised all in for 305,000. Sammartino quickly called the extra 65,000.

Mueller didn't have much but he found himself ahead as Sammartino had only queen-high. However, Sammartino had a solid chance with a double gutter, and Mueller needed to avoid any king, queen, nine or an eight. He did so on the   river and locked the double.
