Schwartz Spikes an Ace to Double

On a flop of     there was about 9,000 in the middle already and the small blind bet out 3,000 the player next to act called and Evan Schwartz raised to 15,000. The action was back to the small blind who announced all-in for 54,200, the player in the middle folded and Schwartz called off his stack.

Kenny Hallaert opened to 2,300 in middle position and the button three-bet to 7,000. The blinds folded and Hallaert stuck in a four-bet to 20,000. His opponent called and the flop came    .

Hallaert led out for 15,000 and his opponent called to see the   on the turn. Both players checked and the   completed the board. Hallaert dropped in a bet of 40,000 and his opponent snapped-him off. Hallaert turned over    but his opponent held aces too with    to chop up the pot.

Leonard Gives Up

Takao Shimizu raised to 2,800 from under the gun, and a player called in the next seat. Patrick Leonard called from the big bind, and the flop came down    .

Leonard check-called a 2,800 bet from Shimizu after the third player involved had folded, and the Brit checked again after the   had hit the turn.

Shimizu continued for 7,500 and Leonard broke down his stack while thinking before he passed.

Johnson's River Raise Wins

Aaron Johnson

A player bet 4,000 facing a       board and 13,000 in the pot, and Aaron Johnson raised to 14,500 from the cutoff, sending the big blind deep into the tank.

According to Mossey, Matthew Ellis raised to 2,500 on the button and Mossey flat-called in the small blind. The big blind shoved for 30 big blinds and Ellis asked for a count, but folded. Mossey called and was ahead with    versus   .

Rini Gets a Fold From Grybas

Steven Grybas raised to 2,600 from the hijack and Robert Rini three-bet to 6,500 on the button. Action folded back to Grybas who called.

Barny Boatman raised under-the-gun to 2,200 and the action folded around to the big blind who defended.

The dealer spread a flop of    , the big blind checked and Boatman continued for 1,300 which the big blind said, "I'm not sure who you're saving chips for but it's one of us." as he called.

The   fell on the turn and after being checked to Boatman bet out 3,000 and his opponent made the call. The   hit the river and both players checked. The big blind tabled    for two pairs, aces and sixes, while Boatman tabled    for aces and queens and scooped the pot.

Astedt and Foxen Battle in the Blinds

The board came down      , and Niklas Astedt bet from the small blind. His opponent in the big blind was Alex Foxen, and the American was in the tank before he smiled at Astedt and folded.

"Show the bluff," said another player at the table.

"I wish I could" replied Astedt, and shared a laugh with Foxen.

It will be an interesting battle between the two, with Astedt, who is more commonly known as 'Lena900' in the online streets, facing off against Foxen is also known for his online prowess.
