Big Pot for Turner

The button player raised to 11,000 and after some consideration, Jon Turner made the call.

The flop went     and Turner bet 13,000. His opponent raised it and Turner quickly called. Both players checked on the turn  .

The river fell a   and Turner looked at his opponent's stack once more before betting 25,000. The latter called and mucked when Turner tabled    for the flush.

Liebert Loses One

A player raised and it folded to Kathy Liebert in the big blind who made the call.

The flop appeared     and Liebert check-called for 8,500. The turn brought the   and Liebert first checked before facing an all-in bet from her opponent for around 50,000. Liebert ended up folding, saying "almost the card I wanted!".

Greer Doubles Up

The player on the button raised to 8,000, and Garrett Greer, in the small blind, three-bet shoved for 25,000. The button quickly called, and both players tabled their cards.

Greer hit a pretty favorable flop of    . The   and   filled the board and Greer doubled up.

Greer was the runner-up of this event in 2016. He also bagged the chip lead on Day 1A but things hasn' been going his way during the first levels of Day 2. He will be looking to chip back up, and make another deep run.

Treccarichi's Check-Raise Takes It

The player in early position raised to 7,500, got called by the small blind, and by Walter Treccarichi in the big blind.

The flop came    , and action checked to the original raiser who fired 9,000. The small blind folded, but Treccarichi took a few seconds of reflection, before check-raising to 23,000. The original raiser gave it some thought, but opted to let it go.

The flop fell     and Addamo continued for 4,000 after his opponent checked. The small blind player called.

Kniep's Shove Gets Through

Jon Turner opened to 5,500 on the cutoff and Andreas Kniep, in the small blind, three-bet to 16,700. Action was on the player in the big blind, who thought for a long while, before four-betting to 45,000. Turner quickly let it go but Kniep stuck around with a call.

A flop reading     was dealt and checked through to the   turn. Kniep moved all in for about 33,000 and his opponent gave up his hand.

Event #19: $1,500 Millionaire Maker - $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em drew 8,809 entries and generated a prize pool of $11,892,150. Steven van Zadelhoff Loses One

On a raised pot, the flop brought     when Steven van Zadelhoff called on the button a bet worth 4,000 from his opponent.

Both players checked the turn   and the dealer showed a   on the river. Both players checked once more and van Zadelhoff tabled    for a pair of queens, but lost the pot when his opponent turned over    for a pair of aces.

Machado Takes One Out

Manuel Machado raised to 5,500 on the cutoff. The player in the small blind three-bet shoved for about 75,000. Machado made the call.

The board came       and Machado eliminated his opponent.

Machado, who hails from Portugal, has been playing for many years, yet has only ever won ranking poker events in his home country. With a total tournament earnings of $79,986, should Machado go on to win the Millionaire Maker, he'll bag a seven-figure score for victory - a result that so many recreational players who remain in the event are dreaming of.

Piccioli Gets a Call from Lewis

On a raised pot, the flop read     when Bryan Piccioli check-called a bet from Romain Lewis from the big blind. The turn   brought no betting action.

On the river   Piccoli checked once more and Lewis fired 15,000. Pioccoli tanked for a few minutes before raising it to 68,500, putting Lewis into a decision. The latter ended up making the call but mucked his cards when Pioccoli tabled    for a set of sevens.
