Kozlov Goes Pot-Pot

Martin Kozlov

Jan-Peter Jachtmann raised to 40,000 in the first position and big blind Martin Kozlov countered with a maximum three-bet, making it 128,000. Jachtmann called and the     hit the felt. Kozlov potted for 264,000, covering a majority of Jachtmann's remaining stack. Jachtmann shook his head and then let his hand go.

Dermot Blain was in the big blind and got his stack in against James Chen on a flop of    . Blain had checked, Chen bet 50,000 from the button, Blain check-raised, and all the chips went in the middle in a flurry of activity.

Jachtmann Makes a Close Call, Looks into Full House

Jan-Peter Jachtmann raised 40,000 from the button and James Chen called in the small blind. The next round was checked and Chen took the betting lead on the turn reading     . He fired 75,000 and Jachtmann called.

The river was the   and Chen potted for 246,000. Jachtmann spent a few minutes tanking.

"Very close," he turned towards Chen and talked but Chen remained quiet. Then someone called the clock on Jachtmann who made the call during a five-second countdown.

Chen showed      for a full house and Jachtmann mucked his hand in defeat.

Kozlov Folds to Bohlman

With about 100,000 in the middle and the board reading     , Martin Kozlov bet 83,000 from the big blind into his lone opponent, Scott Bohlman, who was in the cutoff. Bohlman called after a brief consideration.

The   fell on the river and Kozlov checked. Bohlman bet 75,000, and after a bit of thought, Kozlov folded.

"Good bluff," said Kozlov as the dealer pushed the pot Bohlman's way.

Lewis Stacks Hu

There were 116,000 chips in the pot and the board read      when we got to the table. Richard Hu bet 76,000 from the big blind and Romain Lewis made a pot-size raise to 344,000 from the cutoff. Hu shoved for about 100,000 more and Lewis quickly called with a covering stack.

James Chen was in the big blind, checking on the river of the      . Ronald Keijzer bet 90,000 into 126,000 and Chen check-raised pot, making it 396,000. Keijzer thought for over two minutes and then he released his hand. Chen was about to show one card but Keijzer stopped him.

"Show three or show nothing," he said.

Martin Kozlov made it 36,000 in the small blind and Ryan Lenaghan defended his big. Kozlov check-called 40,000 on     before they tapped the   turn. The river fell   and Kozlov checked, letting Lenaghan fire 80,000. Kozlov tanked for a while and then made the call but Lenaghan had him beat with      for aces up.

Parker Doubles Through Le

Brock Parker made it 32,000 from under the gun, Tommy Le called next to act, and everyone else got out of the way.

The flop came     and Parker shoved for his last 66,000. Le quickly called to put Parker at risk and the two players tabled their hands.

Keijzer Gets Value

There were about 120,000 chips in the pot and the       board was out when we picked up the action. Blake Whittington checked from the big blind to his lone opponent, Ronald Keijzer, who was in the cutoff. Keijzer bet 120,000 and Whittington went deep into the tank.

After several minutes, the clock was called. Tournament staff arrived at the table and told Whittington he had 30 seconds to act on his hand. Shortly thereafter, he moved calling chips forward. Keijzer tabled      for eights full and Whittington mucked.

Blain Eliminates Aidinian

Pallas Aidinian potted from the cutoff and small blind Dermot Blain called to see the     come down. Blain checked, Aidinian potted for almost all her chips and Blain set her all in.

Richard Hu opened to 41,000 under the gun and Romain Lewis flatted from the button. They checked the     and the   turn saw Hu fire 41,000. Lewis called and the   river completed the board. Hu cut out a bet of 150,000 and Lewis immediately threw his cards away.

With a substantial pot already brewing after a bet and call on the flop and the board reading     , Tommy Le bet the pot to put Alex Bolotin to a decision for his stack and he called to put himself at risk.

Le had two flush draws but his clubs weren't live since Bolotin had the ace-high club draw in addition to his overpair. The   fell on the river to complete the spade flush, so Le took the pot to send Bolotin to the payout desk.
