Antonio Esfandiari opened to 115,000 in the hijack and Bas De Laat flat-called on the button. The two players went heads-up to a flop of    . Esfandiari led out for 135,000 and De Laat raised to 345,000. Esfandiari called to see the   on the turn.

Esfandiari checked this time and De Laat slid in a bet of 415,000. Esfandiari thought for a minute and moved all in for around 1,500,000. De Laat instantly called and Esfandiari got the bad news.

Chun Wins Off Da-Silva

Lybaert Nearing the 10M Mark

In the last hand before the break, Alexander Lynskey opened from the hijack and Bart Lybaert defended his big blind. The flop was     and Lybaert check-called 50,000 from Lynskey.

The turn brought the   and Lybaert opted to lead out for 400,000, more than the size of the pot. Lynskey called the bet in position.

The hand caught the ESPN crew's attention and the camera's swooped in as the rest of the field already went on break. The river brought the   and Lybaert checked to Lynskey. The Australian cut out a bet of 675,000, and Lybaert quickly flicked in two chips to indicate a call.

Lynskey turned over    for Broadway, but it was second best as Lybaert revealed    for the nut flush to scoop up the sizable pot and extend his lead even further.

Qutami Doubles Through Xi

After an open to 90,000 from early position, Ming Xi made it 365,000 a couple of seats over. Danny Qutami jammed in the cutoff for 1,330,000 and Xi thought a bit and slid in a call.

Lybaert Moves into Chip Lead

Belgian Bart Lybaert has been using the MyStack app, and we caught up with him briefly after his stack jumped up to 8,500,000.

According to Lybaert it all came down to two hands. First, a player opened and Lybaert raised to 300,000 on the button. His opponent called. The flop came     with two clubs. Lybaert continued for 350,000 and his opponent moved all in for 1,200,000. Lybaert called with    for the nut flush draw, and the   on the turn helped him best the    of his opponent.

Then in a different hand, Lybaert raised from under the gun to 100,000 and got one caller before the cutoff squeezed to 400,000. Lybaert four-bet to 900,000 and the caller folded.

The cutoff then five-bet all in for 2,500,000 and Lybaert called. Lybaert held    and his opponent   .

"And aces held?" we asked Lybaert.

Ivan Demidov has just been eliminated from the Main Event.

Speaking to tablemate Chris Da-Silva, he detailed to PokerNews the Demidov elimination.

Altman Doubles Through Zhu

Brian Altman defended big blind from a Yueqi Zhu hijack open and checked the     flop. Zhu bet 80,000 and Altman made it 200,000. Zhu called after some thought and the   fell. Altman bet 325,000 and Zhu quickly shoved all in for 880,000 more. Altman snapped it off with    for trips, and Zhu was drawing thin with   , having turned a pair. The   river sent the pot to Altman.

Ralph Massey wandered over and said something we didn't hear to Altman.
