Deeb Takes Plesuv Out

Pavel Plesuv raised from the under-the-gun position and action folded to Shaun Deeb on the button who three-bet. Plesuv four-bet shoved and Deeb called.

Wang Gives Up On the Flop

There was a raise on the button to what looked like 10,000 before Mike Wang made it 33,000 from the small blind. Action folded back to the button player who called.

The flop came down     and Wang quickly checked then folded to a bet of 30,000 from his opponent. After losing the pot, Wang dropped to just under 150,000 chips.

Alaei Wins a Big Flip

After a raise from under the gun, Daniel Alaei three-bet in middle position and the action folded back to the initial raiser. He moved all in and Alaei called, having him slightly covered.

It was a coin flip with Alaei needed to hit the board. The flop came     and the pocket tens were still in the lead. The turn was the   and the river brought the  . Alaei spiked an ace on the river to eliminate his opponent much to the amazement of Antonio Esfandiari.

"It's just that easy for some people," Esfandiari said as Alaei dragged in a healthy pot.

Kassouf Folds to Kings

William Kassouf

Action folded to the player on the button, he raised to 5,500, and William Kassouf called from the big blind.

The flop came     and Kassouf checked. The button bet 6,000 and Kassouf folded.

"You got lucky. Show one?" Kassouf asked as the dealer pushed the pot to the button.

The button slid both of his cards face-down to Kassouf for him to look at. Kassouf peeked at both and then held the   up for the table to see.

"He bluffed me with this," Kassouf said before he flashed the button's other card, the  .

Marsico and Saltus Lead Amazon Tan Section

Anthony Marsico and Brian Saltus are the current chip leaders in the Amazon Tan section, while Ashton Griffin was just eliminated by Patrik Antonius. On the rise on the very same table is Aurelie Reard, who chipped up early thanks to sending a shorter stack to the rail with pocket queens versus   , Reard immediately flopped a full house.

Following an open to 5,000, Amal Bounahra called on the button before the action turns to Darren Elias in the big blind.

Elias splashes out a three-bet to 22,000, and both the original raiser and Bounahra fold.

Livingston and Tamayo Join the Amazon Room

Alex Livingston and Jonathan Tamayo have found a new home here in the Amazon room and are seated next to each other on Table #531.

The player in the cutoff raised and both the player on the button and Livingston in the big blind called.

They all checked through the     on the flop to the   on the turn. Livingston bet 11,000 and only the player in the cutoff called.

Albertson Has Lead, Uses It

Cory Albertson opened to 6,100 from early position. The player in the hijack three-bet to 17,500. Action folded back to Alberston.

''How much do you have behind? You know how much you started the hand with?'' asked Albertson.

His opponent didn't respond, showing his stack of 75,000 left. Albertson four-bet to 120,000. His opponent folded.

''It's not that good of a hand,'' continued Albertson exposing his   before raking in the pot. His opponent didn't react.

Albertson currently holds the chip lead with a stack of 1,120,000.

Philachack Lays It Down

Action folded to Andy Philachack in the cutoff and he raised to 5,500. The button and big blind called.

The flop came     and the big blind checked. Philachack bet 7,000, the button called, and the big blind folded.

The   fell on the turn and Philachack bet 13,000. The button shoved for 72,800, sending Philachack into the tank. After several minutes, he tossed his cards into the muck. The button showed    as he took the pot and Philachack said he folded pocket queens.

Goodarzy Flushes Away His Opponent

Esan Goodarzy raised to 6,000 from middle position and the player in the hijack re-raised to 16,000. It folded back to Goodarzy who moved all in and his opponent called for his last 70,000.

Thompson Forces Reilly to Fold

A big pot was brewing in the corner of the Amazon orange section and according to one of the players at the table, a limped pot and a squeeze resulted in a three-bet to 40,000 by Nicklaus Thompson in the small blind. Only Nesrine Reilly called to see a flop of     and Thompson continued for 22,000. Reilly raised it up to 65,000 and was called.

Both opted to check the   on the turn and Thompson moved all in for 186,000 on the   river. Reilly was slightly covered and tried to engage in some table chat.

"You look so sad," Reilly said but didn't get any reply. After spending 90 seconds in the think tank, she released her cards into the muck.
