Glazier Gets Value From Zinno

A player opened for 1,000 under the gun and Jackie Glazier made the call. Anthony Zinno raised it to 3,000 from the button and the action folded to Glazier who chose to call.

The flop came     and brought no betting action. On the turn of  , Glazier bet 3,700, and after some consideration, Zinno called.

The river fell   and Glazier fired 9,000. Zinno thought about it for a minute and ended up calling, but mucked his hand when Glazier showed    for a set of sevens.

Craft Eliminated with Kings

Mickey Craft was seated at the same table as Jeremy Ausmus and Gianluca Speranza. Speranza finished as the runner-up in the 2017 World Series of Poker Europe Main Event behind 888poker ambassador Marti Roca de Torres.

Haugo Sets Up Seiver

Scott Seiver

Scott Seiver raised to 700 from late position and Christian Haugo called from the small blind. They went heads-up to the     flop and Haugo checked.

Seiver bet 900 and Haugo quickly called. The turn was the   and Haugo checked to Seiver who bet 3,000. Haugo check-raised to 8,500 and Seiver called. The river was the   and Haugo led out with a bet of 12,000, sending Seiver into the tank.

After nearly a minute, Seiver called and Haugo turned over    for a turned set of fives. Seiver double-checked his hole cards before firing his hand into the muck and Haugo took the pot.

Andersen Gets a Fold

On a board showing     , the pot was already containing around 8,000 when Danielle Andersen fired 7,000 from the small blind position, putting her opponent into a difficult decision.

After considering it for some time, he ended up folding his hand and Andersen added more to her stack.

Chavon's Aces Hold Up

The flop was showing    , Deon Chavon bet 2,000 from the cutoff into a pot around 4,500, and an opponent on the button raised to 10,000.

Chavon moved all in for enough to cover his opponent's 21,425 stack, and his opponent made the call. His opponent turned over    for a straight draw and Chavon tabled    for a pair of aces.

Jones Loses No Big Nor Small One

Ryan Jones raised it up from the cutoff and Todd Comeens three-bet to 2,250, which Jones called and asked "do you want to play a big one or a small one?" Comeens shrugged and replied "We'll see after the flop."

On the     flop, Comeens continued for 2,000 and Jones called. On the   turn, Comeens checked and called a bet of 5,000 by Jones before the   river was checked. Comeens was shown the    and mucked, losing a middle-sized pot instead of a big or small one.

Deeb Wins a Small Pot

Shaun Deeb opened from under the gun to 800 and it was raised to 1,700 from the player one seat over. The action folded back to Deeb who made the call.

The flop fell     and both players checked. The turn   brought no more action and the   completed the board on the river. Deeb made a bet for 2,300 and his opponent quickly mucked her cards.

DeWitt Takes From Silver

Picking up the action on the heads-up turn of     , Max Silver bet 1,600 and Jason DeWitt called. On the   river, Silver made it 2,800 to go and DeWitt gave it some thought before raising it up to 10,000. Silver let go in a battle of WSOP bracelet winners and dropped below DeWitt in the counts.

Gold Should Have Been Out

Ben Maya, last year's $1,500 Shootout Champion, has joined the same table as Jamie Gold and Pierre Calamusa.

Gold said he should have been out as he had played a hand against Calamusa.

"Calamusa had    and I had   . The flop came     and there were four of us in the hand with 12,000 in the pot. We all checked to Calamusa who bet 3,000, I raised to 6,000, and he called. The turn was  . I check-call the 12,000 bet. The river was a   or  , not sure, it was a brick. Rainbow board. I check. Calamusa put me all in for like 24,000. I fold after like two seconds. I said that it absolutely sucked but I'm not giving you the rest of my chips! Calamusa himself said that he bet too much and was a bit annoyed that I didn't call."

While Gold was telling the live reporting team about this hand. he was involved in a hand against Maya.

Gold raised to 800 from mid-position and was called by Maya on the button and the player in the big blind.

They all checked through the     on the flop to the   on the turn. The big blind check-folded to Gold's bet of 1,000 and Maya called.

The river completed the board with the  , Gold fired another 1,000 over the line, and Maya raised to 6,000 without hesitating. Gold considered it for a while but let his hand go in the end.
