A Lot of Chips at Danzer's Table

George Danzer has moved over into the Amazon Orange section and found a new home on the same table as Alexander Villa and Harald Sammer. All three of them have plenty of chips at their disposal and Danzer just added a few more.

The German mixed game specialist raised it up to 1,000 and picked up one caller. On the     flop, a continuation bet of 1,000 was all it took for Danzer to claim the pot right there.

Vitantonio Doubles Through Young

Jason Young has been having a bad go at it since returning from break and Peter Vitantonio just made it worse.

The board was reading      , Vitantonio moved all in for 11,675 and Young made the call. Young turned over    for flopped trips and Vitantonio flipped over    for a turned full house, taking down the pot and securing a double through Young.

Checks All the Way for Lech

The flop read     and David Coleman had checked his small blind. Michael Lech also checked in the big blind.

Both players checked through the   on the turn and the   on the river too. Lech tabled    for the flopped pair of deuces and that was enough for Coleman to muck his hand.

Gagliano Wins a Small Pot

Michael Gagliano raised from late position to 1,000 and just the player on the button called. The flop came down     and both players checked.

The turn was the   and Gagliano fired out a bet of 2,000. The player in the big blind called again and the   river completed the board. Both players checked and the player in the big blind opened up    and Gagliano showed    for a pair of eights.

Fox Takes from Hamby

Elio Fox

Elio Fox raised to 1,000 from under the gun and Victoria Ondis called from late position. Jared Hamby called from the big blind and they saw a flop of    . The action checked around and the dealer burned and turned the  .

Hamby led out with a bet of 1,700 and Fox raised to 6,500. Ondis quickly folded and after nearly a minute in the tank Hamby released his hand and Fox took the pot.

Cunningham Takes a Seat

The table with Pierre Calamusa and Jamie Gold has been broken up and Calamusa is now seated at the same table as bracelet winners Jesper Hougaard and Ryan Bambrick. Also seated at the same table now is five-time bracelet winner Allen Cunningham.

Jesper Hougaard raised to 1,025 from the under-the-gun position and was called by Ben Morrison (early position), Allen Cunningham (mid-position), the player in late position, Bambrick folded in the hijack. Calamusa (cutoff), Emile Schiff (button), Edward Ho (small blind), and Louis Papadelias (big blind) all called too.

The eight players all checked through the     flop to the   on the turn. Ho, Papadelias, and Hougaard all checked. Morrison bet 2,900 and it folded all the way around for Morrison to pick up the pot.

Polk in Bad Shape

Doug Polk

The player under the gun limped and it folded to the player in small blind who completed and Doug Polk who checked.

The flop went     and after two checks, the under the gun player bet 1,300. Only Polk made the call and the same action happened on the turn  , this time for 1,700.

The river fell a   and Polk check-called a last bet for 2,500. His opponent flipped over    for trip queens and Polk mucked his hand. He is now down to a short stack of 6,300.

Kluchman Shoves, Cordero Says Yes Please

David Kluchman found himself all in for around 15,500 and with one caller in Angel Cordero. The two turned over their hands and Kluchman found himself in a bad spot.

Counts and Small Hands From the Amazon Gold Section

Kristofer Homerding faced a bet of 12,500 on the river of a board       and eventually called to get shown the   . Homerding had missed a flush draw with the    but chopped it up thanks to the board to preserve his big stack.

Ryan Riess won a small pot against Darryll Fish when betting the river of a board       for 2,800. Fish gave it some thought and called, but nodded and mucked as soon as Riess rolled over    for top pair.

Hieu Luu raised to 1,050 on the button and fellow big stack Steven Snyder called in the big blind. The duo checked the     flop and Snyder bet the   turn for 1,200. Luu raised it up to 4,000 and claimed the pot without further resistance.

Last but not least, Rafael Moraes grinded up his stack once more after being left with half the starting stack not long ago. On the three-way flop of    , Moraes was the only one to call the bet of 2,100 by Justin Allen, who then checked the   turn. Moraes bet 5,800 and won the pot right there.

Somerville is Peaking

Jason Somerville in a previous event

Jason Somerville dwindled down from the 50,000 starting stack to only 34,000. After winning a pot against Christopher Kusha he's now peaking in the tournament with 57,000.

Somerville raised from middle position to 1,100 and when it folded to Kusha on the small blind he three-bet to 3,700. Somerville called and the two saw the     flop.

Kusha continued showing aggression by betting 2,600 on the flop and Somerville called again. The turn was the   and Somerville called another bet, this time of 6,400.

When the   river rolled off the deck, Kusha checked to Somerville who put in all of his orange 5,000 chips, enough to put Kusha all in for effectively 16,275. Kusha folded and Somerville could start stacking his chips.

MacPhee Lays it Down

Kevin MacPhee was in a tough spot on the river. On a       board, he bet 6,400 and was re-raised to 24,000. MacPhee tanked for a couple of minutes before reluctantly making a fold.

Two-times bracelet winner still has more chips than he did an hour ago, despite losing that pot.

Machina Flops a Set to Eliminate McEwen

There was already about 10,000 in the main pot on the     flop and Morgan Machina bet. Preston McEwen moved all in for his last 16,000 and Machina snap-called.

McEwen turned over    but Machina had flopped middle set holding   . The turn   and river   were no help to McEwen and he wished the table "good luck" as he made his exit.

The flop appeared     and the three players checked. The turn fell a   and Hartree bet 1,700. Deeb raised it to 5,500 and the action folded back to Hartree who made the call.

There was a raise to 1,200 from under the gun, a late position opponent three-bet to 3,600, and Ray Henson called from the hijack. The initial raiser made the call and the flop came down    .

The action checked to the late-position raiser who bet 3,500 and both of his opponents made the call. The turn fell the  . Action checked to Henson who fired 12,500 into the pot.

Everyone folded and Henson scooped in a decent-size pot, adding some more chips to his stack.
