Hands #15-19: "That Was a Big One!"

Hand #15: Jean-Robert Bellande opened the cutoff for 125,000 and he took down the big blind and antes. There was no small blind this hand.

Hand #16: Dean Lyall opened the cutoff/button for 150,000 and took down the blinds and antes.

Hand #17: Andrew Graham raised the button to 125,000 and big blind Jean-Robert Bellande called. The two checked the     fop and   turn before Bellande bet 275,000 on the   river. Graham folded.

Hand #18: Tay Nguyen opened the button for 140,000 but folded to Bellande's small blind 400,000 three-bet.

Hand #19: Bellande opened for 125,000 from the button and small blind Dean Lyall called. Lyall check-called 100,000 on    , 225,000 on the   turn, and another 525,000 on the   river. Bellande showed    and Lyall mucked.

Hand #14: Andrew Graham raised to 150,000 under the gun and Eric Blair defended his big blind to see a     flop. Blair checked and called a bet of 250,000 from Graham, which brought about the   turn. Blair checked, Graham moved all in, and Blair leaned back in his chair. He had 870,000 back, double checked his cards, and called off.

Blair had a kicker problem and was looking to simply chop the pot. The   river was no help and just like that he was sent out the door in fifth place.

Action folded to him in the small blind and he shoved for 515,000. Big blind Jean-Robert Bellande didn't need much time committing chips.

Hands #6-11: Dean Lyall Wins a Big One Off Kacper Pyzara

Hand #6: Andrew Graham raised to 125,000 from the button and Tay Nguyen moved all in for 1.22 million from the small blind. Graham folded.

Hand #7: Graham opened for 125,000 from the cutoff and Nguyen flatted the button. Jean-Robert Bellande called from the big blind and three players went to the     flop. Bellande checked, Graham bet 175,000, and Nguyen folded. Bellande called and the   appeared on the turn.

Bellande checked, Graham did the same, and the   paired the board on the river. Bellande checked for the third time and Graham thought long and hard before betting 425,000. Bellande called and Graham tabled the   . It was good as Bellande mucked.

Hand #8: Bellande raised to 150,000 from the small blind and Dean Lyall folded the big.

Hand #9: Lyall limped the small blind and Eric Blair exercised his option in the big with a raise to 165,000. Lyall called the additional 105,000 and the flop came down    . Lyall checked and folded when Blair bet 110,000.

Hand #10: Kacper Pyzara raised to 175,000 from the hijack and Lyall called from the button. Graham came along from the big blind and it was three-way action to the     flop. Graham checked, Pyzara bet 225,000, and only Lyall called to see the   turn.

Pyzara bet 475,000, Lyall called, and the   completed the board on the river. Pyzara bet 1.1 million and Lyall called. Pyzara sheepishly showed the    and Lyall rolled over the    for two pair and the win.

Bellande's Quest For His First Bracelet Commences at 2 p.m.

He has played in the biggest cash games on the planet. He's bought into the $1,000,000 Big One for One Drop. He's still calling himself Broke, but he most likely ain't.

Jean-Robert Bellande has manifested himself as a force to be reckoned with in the world of poker over the better part of a decade. He's no longer the Survivor Star that plays a bit of poker, he's a poker player who was once on Survivor.

But he doesn't have a bracelet. Yet.

Today, Jean-Robert Bellande is five eliminations away from that most coveted prize in poker; just five players between him and the shiny gold bracelet. And that in a six-handed no-limit hold'em event, a poker variant usually dominated by online players that have played the format over and over on the virtual felt.

Bellande starts out in front with 84 big blinds when play gets back underway. His closest competitor for the top spot brings 45 big blinds. Here's the final table line-up:
