Team Ikeuchi Finds Quads

Team Ikeuchi raised to 25,000 from mid-position and was called by Team Gagnon on the button and Team Halfa in the big blind.

The flop came    , both Team Halfa and Team Ikeuchi checked. Team Gagnon bet 35,000 and only Team Ikeuchi called.

The turn brought them the  , Team Ikeuchi checked again and Team Gagnon continued with a bet of 80,000 this time. Team Ikeuchi checked how much it was for, cut out calling chips and then made the call.

The river completed the board with the  , Team Ikeuchi checked for the last time. Team Gagnon bet 105,000. Team Ikeuchi looked at their stack and then decided to shove for 158,000 in total. Team Gagnon asked the dealer how much more it was, the dealer confirmed the total amount again. Team Gagnon called.

Team Ikeuchi tabled    for flopped quad kings and that beat the    of Team Gagnon who had rivered a flush.

Team Ikeuchi Gets a Double

Team Ikeuchi was able to get all their chips in the middle from the small blind against Team Pantaleo on the button.

Team Gangloff Gone

Team Gangloff shoved all in for their last 30,000 or so from the under-the-gun position and action folded all the way to Team Clarke in the big blind who asked how much it was for. Before the dealer could even count Team Gangloff's stack, Team Clarke already made the call.

Team Koo Gets Team Sluzinski to Fold

Team Sluzinski opened the action with a raise to 30,000 and both the small blind and Team Koo in the big blind called. The action was checked to the initial raiser on the     flop and he continued for 38,000. The small blind folded and Team Koo called.

Team Koo checked once more on the   turn and Team Sluzinski bet 120,000. Team Koo called and on the   river, they led with a 175,000 bet. Team Sluzinski needed a couple of minutes to think and recheck their hand before ultimately folding, giving start-of-day chip leaders Team Koo the pot.

Team Halfa Takes From Team Reymond

Team Reymond raised to 20,000 from the under-the-gun position and was called by Team Halfa in early position and Team Gagnon in the big blind.

The flop came    . It checked to Team Reymond who continuation bet 28,000, Team Halfa called, and Team Gagnon folded.

The turn brought the  , and this time Team Reymond checked. Team Halfa bet 62,000 and Team Reymond considered it for a while but then folded.

Team Simpson Doubles Through Team Levy

Team Lamphere opened the action with a raise to 22,000 from under the gun, and Team Levy called in the small blind. In the big blind, Team Simpson decided to three-bet. Team Lamphere folded, and Team Levy went all in and was called.

But it was Team Simpson that held to win the pot with pocket jacks and moved up to 520,000.

The flop read     and Team Gardner was all in and at risk from early position as they had been called by Team Lamphere in the big blind.

Team Zeligman Eliminated

Team Zeligman has been eliminated after losing two all-in hands back-to-back.

First, Team Moore moved all in from early position for 137,000 and Team Zeligman called from the next seat. The rest of the table folded and the hands were turned on their backs.

Team Moore spiked an ace to win the pot and moved up to 280,000, as Team Zeligman was left with just 31,000.

Welcome to Day 3 of Event #55: $1,000 Tag Team No-Limit Hold'em, Team Koo Leads the Final 28

Today will see the new tag team champions crowned as 28 teams return with Team Koo leading the pack in Event #55: $1,000 Tag Team No-Limit Hold'em.

Team Koo is made up of Bon Koo and Bienvenido Caballero, and yesterday they bagged up 828,000 to take the advantage going into the final day's play which will take place in the Amazon Gold section of the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino.

Other teams who survived on Day 2 and will return at 12 noon are William Reymond - Ami Alibay (706,000), Adam Lamphere - Ao Chen - Yijie Zhang (705,000), Manig Loeser - Joelle Parenteau - Daniel Weinand (615,000), Johan Lees - Jesse Mason (602,000) and Salah 'Papa' Levy - Francis Mariani - Cord Garcia (585,000).

Two-time bracelet winner Loni Harwood, along with her teammates Haixa Zhang and Kelly Minkin return with 480,000, and fellow bracelet winner Ryan Laplante will also be back alongside Jack Hardcastle, Patrick Truong, and Kevin Gerhart after their four-man team bagged up 245,000.

The 60-minute blinds will recommence with Level 21 (5,000-10,000/1,000). Once again there will be no breaks is this event except for color-ups.
