Ben Palmer opened to 60,000 on the button. Gary Hasson, in the big blind, called.

A flop reading     was dealt. Hasson checked. Palmer bet 50,000. Hasson called. The turn was the  . Hasson checked again. Palmer continued for 175,000. Hasson asked his opponent how much he had behind, before raising all in for around 1,500,000. Palmer quickly called, putting at risk his last 600,000.

James Mackey opened the cutoff for 70,000 and big blind Darren Rabinowitz called.

Rabinowitz check-called 50,000 on the     flop, 125,000 on the   turn, and 280,000 on the   river.

Ben Palmer Doubles the First Hand

In the first hand on the unofficial final table of seven, Darren Rabinowitz opened the cutoff for 60,000. Big blind Ben Palmer called to see a flop heads up.

Palmer checked on     and he saw Rabinowitz bet 75,000. Palmer thought about it for a bit, counted his stack, and called.

The   on the turn saw Palmer check again. Rabinowitz moved all in for effectively 385,000 and Palmer snap-called.

On the button, Gary Hasson asked to see how much small blind Enio Bozzano was playing, and raised to 65,000 from the button upon finding out it was 330,000. Bozzano instantly shoved and the big blind folded. Hasson called.

The Brazilians on the rail shouted for the cards they wanted to see, but to no avail. The board ran out         and that was it; Bozzano eliminated.

Having just doubled up, Kerignard opened the button for 52,000. Big blind James Mackey, who had returned rather quickly after his impromptu break, asked to see how much his opponent was playing, and moved all in. Kerignard called right away.

After winning a blind battle, James Mackey grabbed his bag and headed for the rail, presumably to go to the bathroom. His small blind was dead the next hand, so the table was three-handed when Yorane Kerignard shoved under the gun for 295,000. Big blind Aaron Mermelstein asked how much it was before he called.

Bozzano Getting Short

Gary Hasson opened the button with a raise to 61,000 and big blind Enio Bozzano called. Bozzano check-called 45,000 on     and another bet - we believe to be 140,000 - on the   turn.

Hasson With the Check-Raise

In what appeared to be a limped pot, small blind Gary Hasson checked on    . Big blind Ana Marquez bet 40,000 and Hasson called.

The   hit the turn and Hasson checked once more. Marquez didn't hold back and slid 130,000 in chips forward. Hasson contemplated on what to do for just a bit before he announced a raise to 380,000.

Marquez folded soon after.
