Hand #63-68: Cada Shoves, McKeehen Up and Down

Hand #63: Joe McKeehen raised to 36,000 from the cutoff and Sam Phillips called in the big blind. They both checked through the     on the flop to the   on the turn. Phillips bet 60,000 and McKeehen folded.

Hand #64: McKeehen raised to 36,000 from the hijack and everyone else folded.

Hand #65: Ihar Soika raised to 46,000 in the small blind and Harry Lodge folded.

Hand #66: Joe Cada raised to 36,000 from the hijack and Anthony Reategui called in the big blind. The flop came    , Reategui check-called the 38,000 bet of Cada. The turn brought them the  , Reategui now bet 60,000. Cada raised to 190,000 and Reategui called. The river completed the board with the  , Reategui checked for the last time. Cada considered his options and then decided to shove for about 520,000. Reategui thought about it for a bit and then folded.

Hand #67: Reategui raised to 48,000 in the small blind. McKeehen three-bet to 666,000 and Reategui folded quickly.

Hand #68: McKeehen completed his small blind and Maskill opted to check. The flop came    , McKeehen bet 20,000 and Maskill called. The turn brought them the  , McKeehen continued with a bet of 64,000 and Maskill called again. The   on the river completed the board, McKeehen now checked. Maskill tanked for a bit but then decided to bet 235,000. McKeehen quickly gave up his hand.

Hand #57: Anthony Reategui opened to 30,000 from early position and was called by Ihar Soika from the big blind. The flop fell     and action checked to Reategui who bet 40,000. Soika folded and Reategui pulled in the pot.

Hand #58: Anthony Reategui raised to 30,000 from under the gun and Ihar Soika called from the small blind. The flop came     and both players checked. The turn came the   and action checked to Reategui who bet 35,000. Soika folded and Reategui won the hand.

Hand #59: Harry Lodge called from the small blind and Anthony Reategui checked behind from the big blind. The flop came     and Lodge led for 12,000. Reategui made the call and the turn came the  . Lodge then check-called a bet of 40,000 from Reategui and the   fell on the river.

Lodge would check-call a bet of 25,000 from Reategui and players then flipper their hands. Reategui showed    for a pair of queens with an eight kicker and Lodge then flipped over    for jacks and queens, winning the pot and adding some chips to his stack.

Hand #60 Anthony Reategui raised to 38,000 from the small blind and Joe McKeehen folded from the big blind.

Hand #61: Ihar Soika opened to 28,000 from the hijack and was called Jack Maskill in the big blind. The flop came     and action checked to Soika who bet 28,000 and Maskill then threw his hand in the muck.

Hand #62: Anthony Reategui opened to 32,000 from the cutoff and Joe McKeehen then three-bet to 96,000 from the button. Reategui folded and McKeehen took down the pot.

Hand #52: Jack Maskill raised to 25,000 from mid-position and Sam Phillips three-bet to 70,000 from the cutoff. Maskill called. The flop came    , Maskill check-called the 55,000 bet of Phillips. The turn brought them the  , Maskill checked again. Phillips continued with a bet of 135,000. Maskill checked out his own stack to see how much he had behind and then decided to call. The river completed the board with the  , Maskill checked once more. Phillips looked at Maskill and then decided to also check. Maskill flipped over    for the turned set of queens and Phillips mucked.

Hand #53: Phillips raised to 27,000 from the hijack and was called by Joe McKeehen in the big blind. They both checked through the     on the flop and the   on the turn to the   on the river. McKeehen check-called the 40,000 bet of Phillips. Phillips tabled    for ace-high and was beaten by the    of McKeehen who had turned top pair.

Hand #54: Joe Cada raised to 27,000 from the under-the-gun position and was called by Phillips in mid-position and Anthony Reategui on the button. The flop came    , Cada continued with a bet of 35,000 and both Phillips and Reategui folded.

Hand #38: Sam Phillips raised to 23,000 from mid-position and was called by Anthony Reategui in the cutoff, Joshua Turner in the small blind, and Taylor Wilson in the big blind.

The flop came    , both Turner and Wilson checked. Phillips bet 45,000 and Reategui called. Turner shoved for 210,000 in total. Wilson quickly got out of the way. Phillips contemplated all his options, he also checked out how much Reategui still had behind. Reategui confirmed it was around 440,000. Phillips then grabbed some chips and then announced he was also all-in. Reategui quickly folded.

Turner had a flush draw and Phillips had flopped top pair. The rest of the board was completed with the   on the turn and the   on the river. No help for Turner as he was eliminated in 9th place and got to take home $18,526 for his efforts over the past three days.

Hand #31: Sam Phillips raised from under the gun and everyone at the table folded.

Hand #32: Anthony Reategui opened to 25,000 from early position and Joe McKeehen called from middle position. The flop came     and Reategui bet 30,000. McKeehen called and the turn came the  . Reategui bet 60,000 and McKeehen folded his hand.

Hand #33: Josh Turner opened to 26,000 from early position and everyone at the table folded.

Hand #34: Joe McKeehen opened to 25,000 from early position and Joshua Turner called from middle position. The flop came     and McKeehen bet 28,000. Turner folded and McKeehen scooped in the pot.

Hand #35: Sam Phillips raised to 23,000 from the cutoff and Anthony Reategui three-bet to 75,000 from the big blind. The flop came     and Reategui bet 75,000. Phillips made the call and the turn came the  .

Reategui bet 150,000 and Phillips made the call. The river fell the   and action checked to Phillips who then bet 300,000. Reategui folded and Phillips pulled in a nice pot.

The turn brought them the  , Trudeau checked again. McKeehen continued with a bet of 80,000. Trudeau thought about it for a while and then decided to call.

The river completed the board with the  , Trudeau checked once more. McKeehen looked at Trudeau's stack and then put him all-in. Trudeau considered it for a while and then called.

Hand #20: Jeffrey Trudeau opened to 18,000 from early position and was called by Sam Phillips. Joshua Turner called as well and the flop came    . Action checked to Phillips who bet 30,000 and was called by Turner. Trudeau folded and the turn came the  .

Phillips led for 80,000 and Turner thought for a moment before making the call. The river came the   and both players checked. Phillips tabled    for top pair and Turner then threw his cards in the muck.

Hand #21: Ihar Soika opened to 18,000 from late position and was called by Joshua Turner from the button. Joe Cada called from the big blind and the flop came    . Action checked to Soika who bet 40,000 and Turner then raised to 98,000.

Cada thought for a few moments before moving all in for over 350,000. Action folded to Turner who thought for a minute before throwing his cards in the muck.

Hand #22: Harry Lodge opened to 19,000 from early position and was called by Joe Mckeenen from late position, Joe Cada from the small blind, and Jeffrey Trudeau from the big blind. Who Will be Crowned Champion in Event #3: $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em SHOOTOUT

The final ten players in Event #3: $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em SHOOTOUT will be returning today at 12 p.m. to play for not only the $226,218 first prize but also the prestigious WSOP bracelet.

The third event of the WSOP will be giving a minimum of $14,437 to the final table and a pay jump will be happening after every elimination, with the top three getting a six-figure payday.

The final table has two very recognizable names in Joe McKeehen and Joe Cada, who both are main event champions with two bracelets and over $10 million in WSOP cashes. The only other player at the table that has a bracelet is Anthony Reategui who won his bracelet in the 2005 $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em Shootout and will be looking to get his second today.

Notable players that will be chasing their first bracelet include Sam Phillips who has almost $2 million in career earnings, Ihar Soika who has $3.2 million in career earnings, Harry Lodge who has just under $1 million in career earnings, and Joshua Turner who has over $1.3 million in career earnings as well as 58 WSOP cashes.
