Nguyen found some help on the     flop, as he picked up a backdoor straight draw and some immediate outs to chop. The   turn did him no good though, and the   river was also a brick. He shrugged helplessly and headed for payouts.

With the departure of Nguyen, there are no longer any WSOP Main Event champions in the field.

Dilovan Hussein Spikes a Set to Double Through Jared Jaffee

With about 225,000 in the pot, on a board reading     , Dilovan Hussein moved all in for 427,000 from early position. Jared Jaffee was in the hijack and asked for a count, clearly unsure of what he was going to do. Eventually, he called.

Hussein triumphantly tabled    for a set of tens and Jaffee disappointingly tabled    for a pair of jacks. "No jack, baby!" yelled Hussein.

The river was the   and Hussein doubled up.

"Woooo!" exclaimed Hussein. "That's what I'm talking about! That's why I shoved. I knew you were gonna call," he continued.

Charlie Carrel vs. Kenny Hallaert

Charlie Carrel

Kenny Hallaert raised to 22,000 from middle position and Charlie Carrel three-bet to 70,000 from the hijack. Hallaert called.

The flop came    . Hallaert checked and Carrel's bet of 55,000 got a quick fold from the 2016 November Niner.

Akkari:

Akkari had the preflop advantage and stayed ahead on the     flop, but the   turn double-paired the board, making a chop look likely. The   on the river sealed the deal and the two players split the pot.
