Samoeun Mon turned to his rail, saying, "I got nine lives, I got one life left." A few hands later, he ended up losing it.

Mon raised from under the gun, and small blind Jameson Painter three-bet. Mon called off for 145,000 total, and the cards went face-up.

The       board missed Mon, and no duck sound was made this time.

Mon couldn't dodge the deadly bullet as he was finally dispatched in fifth place, interrupting a bustout drought of more than two hours. He was rewarded with $44,388 for his performance.

Jared Bleznick open-completed to 50,000, and Jameson Painter called. Bleznick bet fourth, fifth, and sixth streets, with Painter calling each time.

Both players checked seventh, and Bleznick signaled to his board meaning he had a pair of eights. Painter tabled     for a pair of kings, and Bleznick mucked.

With that pot, Painter climbed over the two-million-chip mark as Bleznick dropped to 600,000.

Bleznick got a deuce himself on fourth street and bet out again. Painter called before both players checked on fifth street. Sixth street brought another queen for Bleznick, who led out again. Painter called with three low cards on his board, and Bleznick checked the river in the dark. Painter checked back.

"Strong like a bull, I don't give up," Samoeun Mon said before calling with the   up. Smith Sirisakorn called, as well, and Jameson Painter completed with the  . Mon made it two bets, forcing Sirisakorn out of the way. Painter raised again, putting Mon at risk.

Samoeun Mon raised with the   up, and the action stopped at Smith Sirisakorn, who re-raised. Mon pushed all his chips towards the middle, and Sirisakorn called.

Sirisakorn made a flush and a low, and Mon's tournament life was on the edge. He peeled the river card, which needed to pair up with any of his other cards. It was the  , which brought a full house for Mon to rescue the high half of the pot for him.

From under the gun, Jameson Painter opened to 80,000, and Larry Tull called next to act. Samoeun Mon called all in for his last 60,000, and Smith Sirisakorn called in the big blind.

The     flop was checked through. The   turn saw Painter bet 80,000, and both Tull and Sirisakorn called. The   river was checked through.

The four-way pot was checked through on the     flop. Larry Tull was in position, and the action was checked to him on the   turn. Tull bet out, and only Smith Sirisakorn stuck around. The river was the  , and Tull check-called one more time.

Tull rolled over      for a full house and a six-four low.

"We chop," Sirisakorn said, but he quickly realised he was wrong. "No, we don't chop. I get scooped. Shit," he observed. He was in the middle of turning over his no-chop hand, revealing      before mucking the remaining two cards.
