Chris Klodnicki raised to 40,000 from under the gun, Viacheslav Zhukov called from the cutoff, and Schuyler Thornton called from the big blind.

The flop came down    , and action checked to Zhukov, who bet 80,000. Both opponents called to see the   turn, and action checked to Zhukov again. He bet 175,000, Thornton folded, and Klodnicki called.

The   river completed the board, and Klodnicki bet the pot. Zhukov called all in with      for fives full of sevens, Klodnicki tabled      for the nut low, and they chopped the pot.

Chris Klodnicki opened. Action folded to Viacheslav Zhukov on the button, and he made it three bets. John Racener was in the big blind, and he made it four bets. Klodnicki quickly folded, but Zhukov called.

Racener stood pat, while Zhukov took one. Racener bet, and Zhukov called. On the second draw, Racener stood pat again, while Zhukov took one. Racener bet, and Zhukov called again. On the last draw, Racener stood pat, while Zhukov draw one more. Both players checked.

From the button, James Obst shoved all in for his last 109,000. Matusow asked for a count then decided on a flat-call. Schuyler Thornton folded his big blind, leaving Matusow and Obst heads up.

The flop was a good one for Matusow when it came     giving him a flush draw. He also picked up outs to a chop on the   turn. But the river was the  , giving him two pairs, and awarding him the entire pot and eliminating Obst in eighth place.

Matusow gave Obst a big hug after the hand and Obst shook hands with both Klodnicki and Thornton and wished them luck. He will take home $32,474 for his eighth-place finish.
