John Monnette leads the field with 87,650 in chips going into Day 2.
Get ready for an exciting Day 2 of the WSOP's first $1,500 mixed PLO-8 / Omaha-8 / Big O tournament. 668 players gave the format a try, and 207 are coming back after playing ten levels on Day 1. Ten more levels will be played on Day 2.
Three well-known names lead the field to start today, with John Monnette at the top with 87,650. Yuval Bronshtein isn't far behind, at 81,725. David Bach's in third place (75,050), with Cody Crouch (74,400) and Randy Schatz (70,200) rounding out the top five.
Also still in contention are three-time bracelet-winner Michael Mizrachi (67,325), Frankie O'Dell (58,900 and two bracelets), Eli Elezra (54,500, three bracelets), Mike Leah (54,100, one bracelet), 2015 November Niner Ofer Zvi Stern (51,825), and many others.
The players generated a prizepool of $901,800, and 101 of them will get a piece of that, starting at $2,243 for a min-cash. The money bubble will break sometime in the middle of today's action.
