Brandon Shack-Harris leads the way into Day 3
The 2016 WSOP Omaha Hi-Low Split-8 or Better event moves into Day 3 today. 27 players return for a chance at the title, which is worth $244,103. Second and third place also receive at least $100,000. All players eliminated at this point are guaranteed to take home at least $6,919.
Going into Day 3, Brandon Shack-Harris is the overall leader with 830,000 in chips and a chance to collect another Omaha bracelet to compliment his previous one from the 2014 $1,000 PLO Event. Some of the other big stacks starting the day belong to Benjamin Gold (566,000), Ilya Krupin (463,000), Frankie O’Dell (454,000) and Francesco “Cheech” Barbaro (420,000). Also remaining are 2015 bracelet winner Benny Glaser (259,000), as well as four-time bracelet winner Max Pescatori (281,000), and notables Thomas Muehloecker (245,000), Allen Kessler (181,000) and Ari Engel (131,000)
