The table folds around to Patrick Chan in the small blind and before he acts, he and Scott Baumstein, in the big blind, exchange a few words as the latter tries to coax Chan into giving him a walk.
Chan reaches for chips and instead of a walk, Baumstein is faced with a 24,000 chip min-raise. He calls to see the flop.
Chan leads the flop for 25,000 and after a few moments of thought, Baumstein fires out a raise of 54,000, leaving himself just over 200,000 behind.
The out of position Chan gets a count and goes into the tank briefly, before putting out a re-raise, sized at 88,000.
It's Baumstein's turn to go into the tank, thinking for close to a minute and a half before verbalizing "one hundred and twenty two thousand".
