Joseph Haddad opens in middle position to 70,000 and George Danzer calls in the small blind. 

Danzer then move all-in on a flop of     and gets called by Haddad, who has just under 200,000. 

Danzer tables      and Haddad turns over     

Danzer needs to fade the flush draw and does, as the   and   completes the board, with Danzer taking the high with two pair and the two players splitting the low. 

The three-time bracelet winner takes three-quarters of the pot and is now playing just over 1,000,000 while Haddad is now the shortest stack remaining with 100,000 in front of him.

Three players see the flop after a Connor Drinan raises to 45,000. The flop is     and all three players check. The turn is the   and Joseph Haddad bets the bot of 155,000. Drinan reraises pot, Nick Polydoros folds and Haddad calls, putting himself all in.

"The nut flush and the nut low," says Drinan as he turns over     .

"Oh man," says Haddad as he turns over     .

The board completes and brings no help for Haddad who gets only one quarter of the pot.

Raul Paez

Action folds to Mark Dube in the small blind who raises to 50,000. Raul Paez defends his big blind to see the flop.

Dube leads the     flop for 100,000 and Paez immediately pushes his entire stack forward, for an all-in amount of close to 200,000 more.

Dube goes into the tank for close to a minute, counting and recounting his stack before eventually calling. The two exchange each other questioning looks and Paez is in trouble when the hands are tabled.

Dube holds      for two pair while Paez turns over      for an inferior two pair.

He needs to catch a nine or running cards to save his tournament life, with neither coming as the   and   completes the board.

When the stacks are counted, Dube has his opponent slightly covered, meaning Paez will be eliminated in 12th place.

He makes just over $13,500 and Dube is now playing close to 650,000.

There have been a flurry of eliminations and double ups over the first two levels of Day 3 and that fast pace should continue as just two knockouts separate this Event #49 field from the unofficial ten handed final table.

Galen Hall

Gallen Hall opens to 35,000 from middle position and George Danzer defends his big blind to see a     flop.

Both players check to see the   pair the board on the turn.

Danzer leads for 45,000 and after a few moments of deliberation, Hall calls to see the river.

The   completes the board and brings another bet from Danzer, sized at 80,000. Hall goes into the tank for close to a minute before pushing his entire 250,000 chip stack forward.

Danzer calls and in a flash, the biggest pot of the tournament is up for grabs.

The biggest pot of Event #49 also brings the biggest cooler of Event #49, as Hall tables      for a rivered full house, while Danzer tables      for a flopped straight flush.

Hall can barely believe it, simply saying, "What!?" after Danzer tables his hand before quietly exiting the tournament area.

When he leaves the rest of the table and rail describe the hand as the "worst runout imaginable", as the turn and river came out perfectly for Danzer to get maximum value.

He did, as he's now playing just over 900,000 with just a few minutes remaining before the first break of the day.

On this hand, Yockey and Erik Seidel see the flop after a three bet from Seidel in the small blind and a call by Yockey. The flop is    .

Robert Toye looks over his shoulder at the clock after getting scooped in an earlier pot that left him little more than the big blind.

On his big blind he puts the rest of his 28,000 on top of his big blind. Joseph Haddad and Connor Drinan are also in the hand. The flop comes     and both Haddad and Drinan get it all in. There is a three way all in to the turn.
