James Obst raises to 150,000 from the hijack and is called by Jason Mercier on the big blind.

The flop comes down     and Mercier check calls a 150,000 continuation bet from Obst which brings the   on the turn.

Mercier once again checks which prompts Obst to slide out 275,000 in chips. Mercier instantly mucks his hand and relinquishes the pot to Obst.

Jason Mercier raises to 120,000 from under the gun and watches as Igor Dubinskyy bumps it up to 270,000 from the button. With the decision back on Mercier, he makes the call, before both players watch the flop come down    .

Mercier checks over to Dubinskyy, who reaches for his chips, and slides out 330,000 in chips. Mercier pauses for a moment before mucking his hand.

The blinds quickly fold, as does Mercier.

On the     flop, Obst checks and Mercier bets 120,000. Obst calls and the turn is the  . Once again, Obst check-calls a bet from Mercier, this time for 245,000.

The river is the   and Obst checks. Mercier bets 620,000 and Obst goes in the tank for nearly two minutes before he folds. Jason Mercier rakes in another large pot early on at the final table.

Deadman reaches for his chips and splashes out 265,000 in chips which is enough to take down the pot as Mercier mucks his hand.
