The Rio is packed from room to room as the Monster Stack tournament makes it's return to the WSOP after last year's successful debut.
Thousands of recreational players have made this their personal Main Event, banking on the big 15,000-chip starting stacks to help level the playing field against the big name pros littering the field. But even with so many chips at their disposal, a few players did manage to go bust during the first two levels, as Owen Guest dispatched an opponent on the very first deal of the day.
Ari Engel did some damage early on as well, tripling his starting stack in short order to claim pole position before the first pit stop.
