Event #15: $10,000 Pot-Limit Hold'em Championship

Action folds around to Paul Volpe in the cutoff who raises to 40,000. Greg Merson raises "pot" for 140,000 and Volpe folds.

Short-stacked Kristijonas Andrulis raises from under the gun to 70,000.  It folds around to Paul Volpe in the small blind who asks Andrulis how much he has behind.  The answer comes back as around 100,000.  Volpe considers and then announces, "Pot."  Dario Sammartino folds the big blind and Andrulis calls all-in.

The flop comes    , giving Andrulis the lead.  But the   falls the turn to put Andrulis well behind.  The   comes on the river to seal the hand for Volpe and send Andrulis to the rail.

Dario Sammartino limps from under the gun, prompting everyone behind him to limp as well with the exclusion of Kristijonas Andrulis and Shaun Deeb.

The 5 players see a flop of     and action checks through to Sam Stein who bets 46,000. Jason Les makes the call and the rest of the table folds, as the two players are heads up to see the   turn. Stein slows down with a check and Les bets 100,000. Stein folds and Les takes down the pot.

Paul Volpe limps from early position and Ismael Bojang raises "pot" to 90,000. Action folds back around to Volpe who moves all in, putting Bojang at risk. Bojan calls.

The board runs out       and Bojang fails to improve, sending him to the rail in 8th place taking home $40,565.

Action folds to Shaun Deeb in the hijack who raises to 40,000. It folds to Dario Sammartino in the small blind who announces "pot", raising it to 90,000. Andrulis quickly folds the big blind and action is back on Deeb. After a few minutes Deeb re-pots it, putting Sammartino all in. Sammartino folds and Deeb picks up the pot.

It folds around to Shaun Deeb on the button and Deeb raises to 40,000. Paul Volpe calls from the small blind. The flop is    . Volpe checks. Deeb bets 32,000 and Volpe check-calls.

The turn is the   bringing a possible flush. Deeb checks and Volpe checks behind. The river is the  , pairing the board.

Volpe checks. Deeb bets 104,000 and Volpe goes into the tank. The two exchange words during which Volpe says, "I don't think I can fold." After a minute Volpe check-calls and Deeb turns over    for a full house.

Action folds to Sam Stein on the button who raises to 40,000. Jason Les folds the small blind and Shaun Deeb calls from the big blind.

The dealer spreads the     flop and Deeb check-calls a bet of 32,000 from Stein. The   falls on the turn and Deeb checks a second time. This time Stein checks back and both players see the   river. Action again goes check-check and Deeb takes the pot when he tables   .
