Shack-Harris Eliminates Song to Take Over Chip Lead

We saw Brandon Shack-Harris, who won his first WSOP gold bracelet this summer and is in contention for Player of the Year, sitting with a big stack of 400,000. He was kind enough to fill us in on how he got a good portion of them.
As he told it, Kevin Song opened for 3,500 and Shack-Harris called. James Obst called from the big blind and three players saw a flop of with two diamonds. Obst checked, Song bet the pot, and Shack-Harris made it 35,000 to go. Obst folded, Song shoved for roughly 100,000 total, and Shack-Harris made a quick call.

Song got it in with top two pair, while Shack-Harris held aces with a flush draw. The turn gave him the said flush, and the river failed to pair Song. That resulted in Song hitting the rail and Shack-Harris vaulting to the top of the chip counts.

Matthew Ashton won this event last year to put his name on the map for good, but this year things didn't go so well for him. Ashton came into the day with a ton of chips, but doubling up Phil Ivey cost him early on and just now his last chips went to John Monnette.
Ashton raised to 5,000 and Monnette called in position after which the flop brought out . Ashton bet pot, which was 15,000, and Monnette did not waste a lot of time before putting in a raise to 50,000.

Action folded to Daniel Negreanu on the button and he raised to 3,600. Online pro Elior "Crazy Elior" Sion was in the small blind and opted for a three-bet to 8,800, which Negreanu called after the big blind folded. The flop contained two diamonds, and Sion put out a bet. Negreanu moved all in and Sion wasted little time in making the call.

Ofir Mor made it 3,500 under the gun and John Juanda and Scott Seiver called in the blinds. The flop came down and after a couple of checks, Mor fired out 5,000. Only Juanda called, but both he and Mor checked the turn.
After the dealer dropped the river on the felt, things took a different turn, with Juanda leading out for 11,800. Mor took his time before firing back, raising it up to 38,000 total.
Juanda patiently weighed his options before deciding to call. Mor turned over and dragged the pot with a rivered boat after Juanda mucked.
