WSOP Online Bracelet #14: No-Limit Hold'em 6-Max (NV/NJ)

After nearly 10 hours of battle on the virtual felt on Tuesday evening, Jeremiah "freestylerr" Williams defeated Christopher "Basile28" Basile in heads-up play to win the 2022 WSOP Online Event #14: $500 NLH 6-Max for his second WSOP bracelet and the $48,697 top prize.

The event attracted 561 entries including 202 re-entries to create a $252,450 prize pool with the top 60 players collecting at least a $1,438 min-cash.

Williams is a regular in the WSOP.com streets and won a bracelet last year in the $1,000 No Limit Hold'em 8-Max ONLINE (WSOP Event #5) for $139,600. This win comes in second for biggest lifetime score according to The Hendon Mob.

The six-handed official final table kicked off five-handed as there were two all-ins simultaneously with seven players left. Eric "8Bracelets" Van Auken found pocket aces but was up against the nine-eight for Basile and exited in sixth when the board ran out with two nines.

The next casualty was Sang "youngkoi" Lee who moved all in with ace-five but ran into the pocket kings for Williams and could not improve, sending them out in fifth place.

Four-handed was a lengthier battle until Toby "DustPistons" Lewis picked up ace-four and called the all in from Williams who held ace-king. The board ran out with a king and Lewis was eliminated in fourth place. On the very next hand Williams picked up pocket jacks and called the shove of Noam "Lokass27" Muallem who had pocket tens. The board didn't help Muallem and they exited in third place.

Williams came into heads-up with a 10-1 chip lead and the chips found the middle on the first hand. Basile moved in with ace-seven and was called by queen-eight for Williams. The flop came a queen and the rest was no help to Basile as he would have to settle for second place. Williams took down Event #14 and his second WSOP bracelet.

All the chips went in the middle on a flop showing     between Eric "8Bracelets" Van Auken and the bigger stack of Christopher "Basile28" Basile.

It was a cooler for the aces of Auken running into trip nines for Basile. The board ran out     and Auken was eliminated in sixth place.

Action folded to Noam "Lokass27" Muallem in the small blind who moved all in, covering the stack of Matthew "HuniDeGrande" Stone in the big blind, who made the call for his last 346,029.

In a pot of 356,000 on a board showing      , Christopher "Basile28" Basile bet out 229,000 and Ryan "gofeltafish" Eriquezzo moved all in for 528,000. Basile went deep in the tank but eventually made the call and the hands were shown.

Eriquezzo rolled over    for the king-high bluff while Basile had    for the straight and sent Eriquezzo out in ninth place.

The board ran out       which gave Knight a flush and eliminated Belz in 12th place.

At the same time on the other table Elliot "TotalWar" La Fleur was all in with king-jack and called by Sang "youngkoi" Lee with king-queen. The board ran out king high and the better kicker for Lee played to send La Fleur out in 11th place.

The action folded to "areyouready" in the small blind who shoved all in for 233,027 and was called by the bigger stack of Jeremiah "freestylerr" Williams in the big blind.

It was a classic flip situation but when the board ran out     , it looked to be a lock for "areyouready" to double up. The river however changed things when the   peeled off and the pocket eights for Williams scored the pot and eliminated "areyouready" in 15th place.

On Friday, The Lodge Live stream in Texas had an exciting show with co-owner Doug Polk and the newest World Poker Tour champion Corey Wade at the table. After the cameras stopped rolling, the Upswing Poker founder lost quite a memorable bad beat that he'd probably just like to forget.

During the five-hour stream, which you can view on The Lodge's YouTube channel, Polk lost $28,000. Wade, who won the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Main Event last week for $471,686, bought in for $100,000 and was the biggest winner, taking home a profit of $48,000.

Shortly after the stream concluded, Polk played a hang against a player named "Boston Jimmy" that was quite cruel. Well, not so much for Jimmy.
