Staats check-jammed for 858,586 after Vandeput fired out 92,225 and Vandeput thought for a moment then called.

Vandeput was ahead after flopping a set of fives but the   turn gave Staats some life with a spade flush draw.

Unfortunately for Staats, the   completed the board on the river and ended his tournament in 16th place for $5,025.

Nicholas "Nickvee07" Verderamo raised to 68,000 from middle position. Michael "annie_r_u_ok" Trivett was next to act with a three-bet to 200,420. Pete "PeteChen" Chen went all in for 936,132 from the cutoff and action folded back to Verderamo, who got out of the way. Trivett made the call.

On Monday, July 26, the WSOP Summer Online Circuit continued alongside the bracelet events. The 11th tournament was the $500 buy-in Event #11: $50,000 GTD PLO Big 500 6-Max, which attracted 144 runners who rebought 125 times. The 269-entry field resulted in a $125,623 prize pool that was paid out to the top 30 finishers.

Among those to cash were YK "LuckySpewy1" Kwon (13th - $1,658.22), Jeff "NedrudRelyt" Madsen (16th - $1,331.60), Ian "apokerjoker2" Steinman (17th - $1,331.60), Anthony "heheh" Zinno (21st - $1,055.23), Ryan "Protential" Laplante (25th - $1,055.23), and Jesse "Patient0" Yaginuma (30th - $1,055.23).

In the end, it was John "Macallan25" Riordan besting Joseph "biueberry" Cheong in heads-up play to win a $26,204.95 top prize and his third gold ring.

WSOP Summer Online Circuit Event #11 Final Table Results

No stage in poker stood as a bigger goal for a tournament player than the final table of the WSOP Main Event. For years, that meant going to sleep knowing you had the chance of a lifetime, to go down in poker history in the next few days as the cameras captured your every bet, raise and fold.

All of that changed in 2008.

The year after Jerry Yang's Main Event victory was broadcast to all on ESPN's standard tape delay, organizers made a decision to try to increase the excitement and anticipation around the final table: after the final nine was reached, play would be paused. At that point, everyone left would go home with 9th-place money and the players would reconvene a few months later to play out the final table on a short tape delay.

That lasted until 2016, and this is the history of the November (and October) Nines.

On July 12, WSOP.com launched in Pennsylvania, and now players from the Keystone State can look forward to competing in gold bracelet events.

From August 8-15, WSOP will offer eight daily bracelet events, each starting at 5:30 p.m. EST. Buy-ins range from $400 up to the $3,200 High Roller. The weeklong series will culminate in a $1,000 NLH PA Championship on Sunday, August 15. Additionally, there will be a pair of Progressive Knockout (PKO) events, marking the first time the WSOP will award a PKO bracelet.

While WSOP.com is in the middle of their 33-bracelet series open to Nevada and New Jersey players, players from Pennsylvania will have the chance to battle for eight daily bracelet events from Sunday, August 8 through Sunday. August 15.
