GGPoker.com Event #56: $150 GGMasters WSOP Edition [Freezeout], $1M GTD

The field is down to just 934 player remaining, and that means they are already into the second pay level. All spots at $343 have been paid out, and players who bust now will get paid $382.

After "BOGDONOVICH" opened, they shoved over a three-bet from Vladislav "imjuniar" Mezheritsky. It was ace-king versus kings, and the kings held for a knockout.

There are just 1,280 players left with stacks, so in fewer than 50 eliminations, they'll all be in the money.

There are just over 1,350 players left in the event, so they are closing in on the 1,232 paid spots.

There are just over 1,600 players left in action, and that means fewer than 400 players need to bust to get to the money. Expect the action to play down to cash quickly.

Now through the first part of September, the WSOP Online will be exclusively on GGPoker, so whether you're playing on the client for the first time or you're a seasoned online pro, we thought we'd bring you five things you didn't know about the WSOP Online on GGPoker.

• 1. STAKING on DAY 2:
  Poker fans and players can now buy a piece of their favourite player's action or sell their own should they survive Day 1 of phased tournaments.
• 2. Convert Multiple Event Tickets into T$
  After the series has finished, your unused tickets will be exchanged for T$ that you can use to enter any tournament on GGPoker
• 3. Pick Your Own WSOP Event
  When the WSOP Online schedule on GGPoker was announced, the poker community was intrigued to see a new type of bracelet event announced! Three 'People's Choice' events were announced, with the formats and buy-ins yet to be announced.
• 4. Best Stack Forward
  Any player that makes it to the end of a Day 1 with a stack is allowed to take part in additional Day 1s if they want to, providing they have not exceeded the maximum number of re-entries.
  However, if a player finishes multiple Day 1s with chips, only the highest chip stack will go to Day 2.
• 5. Take Advantage of Bubble Protection
  GGPoker's popular Bubble Protection is available throughout the WSOP Online. It's available for all non-phase events with buy-ins less than $999. This means that if you register before the start of play and go on to bubble the tournament, you'll receive your buy-in back.

There were more than 3,500 players with stacks when registration closed, but just a couple levels later, the field is down to under 2,200 remaining. A total of 1,232 players will get a share of over $1.35 million in prizes.

All the money went in on the      turn when Daniel Negreanu shoved for 55K over a bet of 12,600 from "Sealord79". They called off for less, and Negreanu's ace-ten diamond flush held against the turned trip kings of his opponent.
