Andreas Torbergsen raised the pot on the button and Simon Lofberg three-bet the pot, which Torbergsen called with fewer than one million behind. On the     flop, Lofberg moved all-in and Torbergsen called it off.

Torbergsen had an open-ender and flushdraw while Lofberg had a gutshot to the higher straight and backdoor clubs. The   turn paired the board and the   river kept king-jack high in the lead. Torbergsen had to settle for second place which comes with a sweet payday of $164,552.93.

Andreas Torbergsen twice raised the pot to then jam the flop and helped himself to a near double. However, Simon Lofberg remained in the driver's seat with a comfortable lead.

Lofberg Takes Commanding Lead

Big Double for Lofberg

Andreas Torbergsen raised to 600,000 and Klas Lofberg called. On a flop of    , Lofberg check-called a bet of 600,000 and then check-shoved the   turn for 4,523,820. Torbergsen had invested 2.4 million by then and called for a big portion of his stack.

After returning from the break, Simon Lofberg and Andreas Torbergsen traded small pots only as the former pulled into a lead worth one and a half big blinds.

In a limped pot, Lofberg bet the [c10d7h] flop for 400,000 and the   turn for 900,000 into 1,200,000. Torbergsen called once but then got out of the way.

Narrow Lead for Torbergsen

Andreas Torbergsen and Simon Lofberg chopped a pot of 7.3 million when both hit a ten-high straight and after that, Lofberg earned four out of five pots without showdown. One of them saw him bet the     flop for 300,000 to get called only to fire 750,000 on the   turn and force a fold from Lofberg.

As the Scandinavian duo headed into the next break, they were separated by a mere big blind.

Fireworks in Heads-Up

Simon Lofberg pulled away by earning a 3.2 million pot with      against he      of Andreas Torbergsen on a board of      .

Torbergsen won a few medium-sized pots and they then clashed when both had invested 3.6 million preflop and the rest went in after the     flop.

What followed was a battle as the chips went back and fourth. Eventually, Lofberg hit a streak of seven hands out of nine to regain the lead. After the blinds had gone up, a limped pot led to the     flop on which Lofberg check-called a min-bet. Lofberg bet the   turn for 557,000 to get called and the   river was checked.

Six In a Row for Torbergsen

Andreas Torbergsen made it six pots in a row to cement his top spot and one of those pots saw him raise to 324,000 and pick up a call by Leon Tsoukernik in the small blind. Tsoukernik bet half the pot on     flop but folded to a pot-sized raise.

Tsoukernik doubles through Torbergsen

Andreas Torbergsen made it 300,000 to go from the cutoff and was called by Leon Tsoukernik in the small blind. On a flop of    , Tsoukernik check-called a pot-sized bet of 720,000 and hammed the   turn for 891,434, which Torbergsen called.

Andreas Torbergsen had increased his lead by three-betting Leon Tsoukernik and jamming the flop successfully.

Torbergsen then raised to 300,000 first to act and Tsoukernik flat-called on the button. Sai Wah "sws79" Shek jammed for 1,024,932 in the small blind and Torbergsen reraised to force out Tsoukernik.

Tobergsen Takes The Lead

The blinds went past Shyngis "somebodyelse" Satubayev and he then raised the pot to 420,000 first to act. Andreas Torbergsen was having none of it and reraised the pot to force a reluctant fold from Satubayev, who dropped below a million in chips.

Two hands later Sai Wah "sws79" Shek raised to 300,000 on the button and Torbergsen came along out of the big blind. The duo checked the     flop and Torbergsen led the   turn for 330,000 to pick up a call before his bet on the   river for 435,600 forced a fold from Shek.
