WSOP Legend: Doyle Brunson's Final Bracelet, 15 Years Later

Doyle Brunson

At the beginning of the 2005 WSOP, Doyle Brunson remained the co-king of the all-time bracelet count, tied along with Johnny Chan at nine. However, as the series drew toward its close in late June, that was no longer the case — Chan had overtaken him by winning No. 10 to stand atop the mountain alone.

Brunson was already phasing out his tournament play, having cashed precisely zero times that summer and just three times in the previous two combined, although one had resulted in a bracelet victory.

When it came time for Event #31: $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed, Brunson dusted off his tournament chops and made a run.

For the a more thorough look on Brunson's historic 10th bracelet win, click the link below.

Eric Ethans

Both Hundt and Ethans called bringing the three players to the     flop. Ethans checked to "DonkeyOG" who continued for 1,320.

Hundt mucked his hand while Ethans raised all in for 13,310 and was called by "DonkeyOG".

Julian "julian" Parmann Looking to Continue WSOP.com Success

Julian Parmann

Originally from Michigan, Julian "Julian" Parmann now resides in Las Vegas with his wife and two young daughters. He's been a professional poker player for the past 14 years, and according to HendonMob, he has $980,026 in live tournament earnings including a career-best $164,086 for finishing 41st in the 2015 WSOP Main Event.

In regards to the online bracelet events, Parmann has been playing since the start and early on finished 88th in Event #2: $1,000 NLH 8-Handed Deepstack for $1,833. Nine days later, he took 18th in Event #11: $500 NLH Turbo Deepstack 6-Handed for $4,794, and the very next day placed 234th in Event #12: $500 BIG 500 for $983.

Parmann was grinding on the fringe and then hit his stride over a three-day period last week. It started when he finished second in Event #16: $500 NLH Turbo (1,528 entries) for $71,648, ultimately finishing runner-up to Terrell "Heezahustla" Cheatham for $116,204.

In that tournament, Parmann got his last 10 big blinds in holding ace-three suited and was ahead of Cheatham's ace-deuce. Parmann was primed to either double or chop, but in this particular hand he would actually lose as a deuce appeared on the flop.

The following day, he was back at the final table in Event #17: $777 NLH after navigating a 1,382-entry field to finish in eighth place for $16,833. Amazingly, on Saturday he nearly made three final tables in a row, though he fell a bit short finishing 15th out of 987 entries in Event #18: $1,000 NLH 8-Handed Turbo DeepStack for $7,876.

Parmann is in action today and looking to continue is string of nice scores.

Kerstetter Scoops Early Pot

Jamie Kerstetter

Action on the table folded around to Jamie "DanBilzerian" Kerstetter who raised to 120 on the button and then called "Brother4242's" 480 three-bet from the small blind to see a     flop.

"Brother4242" continued for 600 and Kerstetter called to see the   appear on the turn.

"Brother4242" fired out 780 and Kerstetter called.

The   river was checked by both players and "Brother4242" showed    for a pair of eights but it was no good as Kerstetter paired her ace holding    to win the pot.
