WSOP Legend: Doyle Brunson's Final Bracelet, 15 Years Later
At the beginning of the 2005 WSOP, Doyle Brunson remained the co-king of the all-time bracelet count, tied along with Johnny Chan at nine. However, as the series drew toward its close in late June, that was no longer the case — Chan had overtaken him by winning No. 10 to stand atop the mountain alone.
Brunson was already phasing out his tournament play, having cashed precisely zero times that summer and just three times in the previous two combined, although one had resulted in a bracelet victory.
When it came time for Event #31: $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed, Brunson dusted off his tournament chops and made a run.

Gifford has her Ladies Cracked by Altman

With no initial raise, four players saw a flop and action was checked to Champie "kiddchamp" Douglas who fired out 615 from early position.
Tara "bertperton" Cain called from the hijack as did "BennyBeeeee" from the small blind, Ryan "GoFeltaFish2" Eriquezzo mucked his hand from the big blind and the appeared on the turn.
"BennyBeeeee" check-folded after Cain fired out 1,057 and Douglas raised to 3,171. Cain called and the completed the board on the turn.
Douglas checked to Cain who jammed for 14,305 and Douglas called off his 8,363 stack.
Douglas rolled over for a set of fours but it was no good as Cain turned the straight holding eliminating Douglas from the tournament.
