Pawel Zawadowicz checked with more than 200,000 in the pot and the       on the board. Ercan Atmaca fired out for 155,000 and Zawadowicz went into the tank for several minutes before time was called.

The floor came to the table and the dealer explained what happened up until that point. Meanwhile, Zawadowicz called before the clock was started only to muck his hand with Atmaca turning over    for trip treys.

Masoud Rasuly bet 60,000 into a pot of around double that with the     on the board after the flop. Borys Rozhanovskyi jammed for 335,000 and Rasuly called off his stack of slightly less.

Rasuly needed some help but unfortunately for the German player there was none on its way with the   turn and   river completing the board.

Kreshnik Maloku lost most of his stack that he started the day with. In fact, he was down to just 39,000 in chips but thanks to the following hand has some small breathing room.

Maloku had his small stack already in the pot and was up against Josef Pavelka and Zaki Hamani. Pavelka checked the     flop. Hamani fired out for 40,000 and Pavelka folded.

Hamani held a set but Maloku was drawing to four out to complete a gutshot straight draw. Maloku bricked the   turn but the   river saved the day for the Swiss player as he tripled up with a straight.

Meanwhile, four more players hit the rail in Marco Succetti, Timo Scarcella, Alessandro Laubinger, and Antonio Fragale to bring the field down to 51 players.

Patrick Jaros had a massive stack. It is still massive despite doubling up the short-stacked Nexhdet Jasiqi. 

Jasiqi get his stack of less than 10 big blinds into the pot and was favored to win the hand against Jaros.

The       board was safe for Jasiqi's tens and he doubled through Jaros. Despite losing this hand, Jaros is likely the chip leader at this point as the start of the day Friedrich Raez appeared to lose a few chips at the feature table.

Things were less rosy for Angelo Sisca and Asher Dahan who are both now on the rail.

It has been a bit of a rollercoaster ride for Edgaras Pipine. After taking down a small pot with queens, he doubled up Leon Campbell before doubling up himself in the following hand.

Pipine checked the     flop. Paul Covaciu fired out for 42,000 into a splashed pot of a bit more and got called by both Campbell and Pipine. All three players checked after the   followed on the turn. The   river paired the board. Pipine jammed for 75,000. Covaciu called and Campbell folded.

Pipine turned over the good old seven-deuce with    for trips. Covaciu was about to muck his cards before the dealer reminded him to turn them over. Covaciu was good until the river, at least against Pipine, as he turned over the   .

Leon Campbell, Bastian Gallitzendoerfer, and Edgaras Pipine all checked the     flop. Campbell checked the   turn as well but Gallitzendoerfer had other ideas and took a stab at the 100,000 chip pot with a bet of 50,000. Pipine called and Campbell folded.

There was around 75,000 in the pot when Maria Lampropulos check-called a bet of 32,000 by Frederik Brink. Both players checked down the   turn and the   river.

The action has heated up at in the 2023 WSOP International Circuit €1,700 Main Event Winter Edition at King's Resort in Rozvadov, Czech Republic. The money bubble broke near the end of Day 2 and today the remaining 64 players out of a much larger field of 689 entries are hoping to advance during today's Day 3 and battle it out on tomorrow's final table for a chance at the coveted WSOPC gold ring along with the massive €182,150 top prize.

Friedrich Raez will kick off today's action with a chip-leading stack of 2,383,000 for nearly 200 big blinds, while Bastian Gallitzendoerfer (2,026,000) also ended the day with over 2 million in chips.

Behind this duo is another five players in the millionaire chip club including Michael Gehrmann (1,385,000), Frederik Brink (1,174,000), Philipp Krieger (1,095,000), Pawal Zawadowicz (1,041,000), and Manuel Koeberl (1,022,000). Meanwhile, Maria Lampropulos (513,000) is the last lady remaining lady in the event and is looking to add another huge win to her already impressive poker resume.

Day 3 Plan

Day 3 will kick off with blinds at 6,000/12,000 along with a 12,000 big blind ante and increase slowly every hour as was the case throughout the Main Event.

The end of the day will be up to the tournament director's discretion but it is hoped that a final table will be reached before the end of the day. However, the tournament director has been informing the players that this needs to be balanced with Day 3 ending at a reasonable time so players have the ability to be well rested for tomorrow's final day.

2023 WSOPC Main Event Winter Edition Payouts 

The top 71 players will go home with at least a €3,383 min-cash with payouts jumping fast with tomorrow's winner awarded a whopping €182,150 top prize. 

A Day 1a ticket to the 2023 WSOP Europe Main Event valued at €10,350 is included in the prizes for the top 12 players giving players a chance at even bigger WSOP glory.
