The final eight players have returned from their 15-minute break. They will be playing at 10,000/20,000 blinds with an ante of 3,000. Daniel Lowery still leads the field with 1.551 million chips while Survivor's Boston Rob Mariano has fought his way into the top three with a stack of 864,000.

Martin Zentner raises to 35,000 from under the gun and action folds to Michael Putaansuu who three-bets all in for 109,000 total from the cutoff. Gil George four-bets to 300,000 over the top and action folds back to Zentner.

"I hope you win this hand," says Zentner as he flings his hand into the muck.

"I hope I do too," remarks George, tabling   .

Putaansuu shows    and needs to improve to stay alive in the tournament.

The flop comes     and Putaansuu picks up a gutshot wheel draw with two cards to come. The   on the turn gives him additional outs to make a club flush. Nothing materializes, however, as the   completes the board on the river and Putaansu is eliminated in eighth place.

Hank Sitton raises to 32,000 from late position. Nolan Burton calls in the cutoff and Michael Putaansuu follows suit from the big blind.

The flop comes     and Putaansuu checks as does Sitton. Burton cuts out two 25,000 chips and flicks them into the pot with his right pointer finger. Putaansuu calls and Sitton folds.

Putaansuu checks the   turn and Burton asks to see how much he's playing behind before checking also.

The river comes   and both players check again. Burton turns over    for ace-high and Putaansuu shows    for a busted gutshot draw.

Martin Zentner raises to 35,000 from middle position and Hank Sitton defends from the big blind. The flop comes     and Sitton announces he is all-in for his last 166,000. Zentner gets a rough count of Sitton's stack, then calls.

Zentner shows    for a pair and a gutshot straight draw. Sitton holds    for overcards to the board. The   on the turn is no help to Sitton, who begins to stand up, anticipating his exit.

There is no exit just yet though, as the river brings the  , pairing him up to take the pot and double up.

Daniel Lowery raises to 35,000 from middle position and finds a three-bet to 90,000 from Nolan Burton in the hijack. The rest of the table folds and Lowery calls to see a flop.

The dealer spreads     on the felt and Lowery checks. Burton instantly moves all in for his last 375,000 which is a bet that causes Lowery to toss his hand to the muck.

Nolan Burton limps from under the gun and Rob Mariano raises to 40,000 directly behind him. Raymond Weaver calls as do Michael Putaansuu and Nolan Burton. The flop brings     and Burton and Mariano check. Weaver bets out 50,000 and gets a call from Putaansuu. Burton folds and the action is back on Mariano.

Mariano thinks a bit before reaching for his stack of blue 25,000 chips and pushing them forward.

"All-in," Mariano says.

After some time in the tank, Weaver asks for a count.

"Rob is all-in 505,000," tournament floor Dan Fouts announces into the microphone.

Weaver eventually decides on a fold and Putaansuu's cards almost beat his into the muck.

Martin Zentner raises to 35,000 from early position and finds a single call from Raymond Weaver on the button. The flop brings     and Zentner fires out a continuation bet of 35,000. Weaver calls to see fourth street.

The dealer produces the   on the turn and Zentner slows with a check. Weaver moves 75,000 forward and Zentner announces a raise to 200,000 total. Weaver replies by moving all in over the top and Zentner quickly lets go of his hand. Weaver drags in the pot.

Action folds to Nolan Burton in the small blind and he completes. Rob Mariano is in the big blind and checks his option. Both players check the     flop, then the turn brings the  . Burton bets 16,000, Mariano minraises to 32,000, and Burton calls.

The river is the   and Burton checks. Mariano bets 75,000, which sends Burton deep into the tank. For almost two minutes Burton counts his chips, plays with 75,000 in chips, and stares his opponent down. Eventually he folds, flashing Mariano the   before mucking.

Gil George makes it 35,000 from middle position and Jonathan Thomas slides his last 131,000 into the pot. Action folds around to George and he calls.

The flops comes     giving George top two pair and Thomas a gut-shot straight draw. More outs come for Thomas when the   falls on the turn and he heads to the river needing one of two remaining kings or one of four remaining queens.

The river brings a meaningless   and George wins the pot with top two pair, eliminating Thomas 9th.

Raymond Weaver is under the gun and raises to 30,000. He finds calls from both Gil George and Martin Zentner before action hits "Boston" Rob Mariano in the big blind. Mariano announces an all in bet for about 360,000 and Weaver tanks for about thirty seconds before letting go of his cards.

George and Zentner follow suit and Mariano drags in the pot.

The two players see a flop of     and Burton bets out 65,000. Lowery raises, making it 150,000 total to play. Burton calls.

The turn brings the   and Burton checks. Lowery sets out a stack of 25,000 chips and announces all-in, having Burton covered. Burton takes a few moments to think before folding.

George checks for a second time and Burton fires 17,000. George wastes little time sliding out a check-raise to 47,000 and Burton calls. The   comes on the river and George bets 45,000. Burton mucks his hand and George picks up the pot.

The     is a good one for Mariano, as he pairs up his queen to take the advantage in the hand. It also appears to have been a good one for Burton, who shakes his fist, indicating he might've laid down the winner.

Michael Putaansuu ships all in for 144,000 from the small blind and it folds back to Lowery who kicks his cards in as well. Weaver announces a call and the hands are shown to be racing for Putaansuu's tournament life.
