Dwyte Pilgrim has been a bit quieter than usual today, both in voice and in chip movement. We pick up the last pot as he makes an opening raise to 24,000 from the hijack seat. He found calls from David Peters (cutoff), Ali Eslami (button), and Tim West (big blind), and it was four ways to the flop.
When the dealer put out {8h , one bet of 55,000 from Peters was enough to take it down right there.

The two men checked through the flop, and the drew a bet of 10,000 from Peters, Eslami called there, and he called another, "Ten more," on the river. At showdown, it looked like Peters tabled two nines, but Eslami's was good enough to earn the pot.

This was the second time in the past two days that Wilkerson has lost a big pot with big slick. Yesterday, he lost a massive pot for the chip lead after running into Tim West's aces. This time, Wilkerson had no more chips left and was felted, hitting the rail in eighth place for $30,397.

Our media desk is set up about 25 feet from the actual final table and we are not allowed on the stage as the event is being televised for airing at a later date on the Versus Network.
In an attempt to lessen the amount of tournament announcements that bleed into the recorded audio, only the big, significant action will be announced. We'll be doing our best to grab what we can from the vantage point we have, but it will be hard to correctly gauge bet amounts and raise sizes from where we are. We're not giving up though and we'll provide any and everything that we can.
This is just one of the things that must be dealt with when having televised poker programs in order to relay the game to mass audiences across the world. It's great for the game to be promoted on such a large scale with television and we'll do our best to work around things in the meantime in order to accommodate that.

The board ran out to leave Dao in the dust. He was eliminated on the hand while Wilkerson collected the chips and improved to 130,000.

Tim West opened with a raise before Steve Brecher moved all in for 113,000. When it came back to West, he took his time considering as he felt out Brecher's strength.
"Do you mind if I call and put a bad beat on you," West asked at one point. Brecher remained statuesque, and West eventually surrendered his bad-beat hand.
Brecher shoved again just a moment ago, and each time he successfully does that, he adds at least 21,000 chips to his short stack.
