Jeff Muehlhausen emerged victorious in Event #13: $500 No Limit Hold’em at the World Series of Poker Circuit at Choctaw Casino and Resort, winning $47,047 and claiming his first WSOP Circuit ring. The tournament attracted 667 entries, creating a $280,140 prize pool after four Day 1 flights.

Muehlhausen’s victory came after a dominant heads-up performance against Mario Salazar, who finished in second place for $31,370Fisher Friend secured third place, earning $21,980.

Muehlhausen started the heads-up battle with the shorter stack but turned things around with a crucial hand. "I caught the top end of the straight, and he hit the bottom end," he said. "We got it all in, he only had a few hundred thousand after that, and we played it out the rest of the way, and here we are"

"I’ve wanted a WSOP ring for a long time," Muehlhausen said. "I’m not going to quit. This is hopefully just the first of many"

Day 2 of Event #13: $500 No Limit Hold'em at the WSOP Circuit Choctaw Casino & Resort is set to begin at 2 PM today, with 55 players returning to the tables to compete for a share of the $280,140 prize pool and the coveted WSOPC ring. After four action-packed flights, the field has been narrowed down, and the stakes are higher than ever.

The top chip stack heading into Day 2 belongs to Dmytro Soloviov, who finished Flight 1D with an impressive 935,000 chips. He’ll be closely followed by William Scarsdale (554,000) and Steven Mann (527,000), with several other players in striking distance.

1st place is set to take home $47,047, along with the prestigious WSOP Circuit ring. The remaining players will battle it out for the remaining spots and payouts, with the minimum cash at $1,510 for those finishing 36th-55th.
