The highly anticipated World Series of Poker Main Event is set at Harrah’s Cherokee. With a massive $1.5 million guarantee, Event #13: $1,700 No Limit Hold’em Main Event is a three-day tournament that promises intense competition and a life-changing payday. The winner will not only claim the coveted WSOPC Gold Circuit Ring but also secure a coveted seat in the 2025 Tournament of Champions.
Last year, this prestigious event crowned poker circuit legend Maurice Hawkins as champion, marking his 16th WSOP Circuit ring and a staggering $259,160 payday. Players will embark on their quest for glory with a substantial 40,000 starting stack. To accommodate a larger field and offer more opportunities, the tournament features two starting flights: Flight A on August 9th and Flight B on August 10th both starting at 11 AM. Day 2 will commence on Sunday, August 11th, merging players from both flights. The action will continue until a final table is reached, with the remaining players returning on Monday, August 12th to battle it out for the coveted championship title.
