In the top spot is L.A. local Edward Pak. With $164,844 in career earnings for Pak, this is a big spot for him. Pak bagged 7,530,000 to bring to battle tomorrow.

Three starting flights down, so that means Day 2 has arrived here at the Commerce Casino and Hotel. We're set to get underway at noon with 164 players returning and already in the money but looking for some much bigger paydays.

On top of the counts is Brad Gafford with 989,000, good for 99 big blinds coming back today. Gafford had his biggest score this past summer when he shipped the $1,000 Mini Main Event for $549,555. Why wait until summer in Vegas for another big score, though?

Third in the counts is Bernardo Neves with 952,000. The Portugal native and resident won a bracelet at WSOP Bahamas for $166,000, and is looking to parlay that score into more money since he's in town for the Tournament of Champions. He also had a late night as he won Event 11 $400 NLH for $24,482. We'll see if he was able to get any sleep at all after winning a ring.

Levels have gone up to 60-minute levels for the rest of the tournament. There is no specified amount of levels to be played today on the structure sheet.

Will Gafford or Neves end up on top of this one, too? Or will one of the other 162 players in the field make their way to the winner's circle? Follow all the action on Instant Live.
