Players turned out in droves for a shot at a massive prize pool today.

This Saturday flight of the Main Event saw 717 entrants enter the fray ballooning the total prize pool to $2,222,505. That number was extremely close to being a record for a WSOP Circuit event.

On top of the counts today and across all flights is Brad Gafford of San Diego, California with 989,000 in the bag.

Many popular names punched their tickets for tomorrow's show as well. Those include Cameron Mixson (470,000),  Jessica Vierling (428,000), Michael Persky (406,000), Yekaterina Lukina (394,000), David Uvaydov (363,000), Hamid Izadi (354,000), Mike Wasserman (341,000), Audley Harrison (315,000), Mike Nia (301,000), Nick Marchington (245,000), Matthew Salsberg (193,000), Christina Gollins (182,000), Daniel Weinman (151,000), Phil Laak (112,000), and Altynai Fung (111,000).

"This isn't the biggest tournament stop of my life," joked WSOP Main Event champion Daniel Wienman. "But, probably this year."

Players return tomorrow in Level 17 with 12:23 second left on the clock and blinds of 5k/10k/10k for the rest of that level.

We'll post all seat draws and prize pool information in the "reports" tab above as soon as it's available to us, but before play begins tomorrow.

That does it for our coverage tonight. We'll see you back here at noon tomorrow to pick up with a merged field for Day 3.
