Mo Nuwwarah raised to 175,000 in first position which saw Daniel Lowery call in the hijack and Michael Henery three bet to 350,000 on the button which both players called.
The flop of saw action check through and the turn saw Nuwwarah bet 350,000. Lowery moved all in for 1,460,000 total and Henery quickly folded.
Nuwwarah thought about it for some time but ultimately let his hand go saying "Ok, I'll let you have this one. Nice hand."

Daniel Lowery raised to 200,000 in the hijack and Matthew Dodd defended his big blind.
The flop came out and Dodd checked over to Lowery who bet 160,000 to which Dodd quickly called.
Action checked through on the turn to the river where Lowery bet 600,000 which sent Dodd into the tank.
After some thought he tossed his hand into the muck which saw Dodd and Lowery swap chip counts on the leaderboard.

After an early pot going his way where he held pocket kings against Timothy Garles, Michael Henery found himself in another sizable pot.
Mo Nuwwarah raised to 175,000 from first position which saw Michael Henery three bet to 350,000 on the button and Henery called.
The flop came out and Nuwwarah check called a bet of 200,000 from Henery.
On the turn, Nuwwarah checked over to Henery who bet 500,000 and Nuwwarah folded.

With the lionshare of the prizepool up for grabs, the final 6 players return at noon in the WSOPC Council Bluffs $1,700 Main Event. Each one guaranteed $21,087 for their efforts, with all eyes on the first place of $116,846 and crown as new Council Bluffs Champion.
Leading the was is Iowa player and WSOPC ring holder Timothy Garles, who sits with 3,340,000. Garles grinded much of the day on a shorter stack, but made a run up the leaderboard late in the night as play ended. With $236.438 in live earnings coming into the final table, and already having secured his best live cash earlier this year, he looks to make his second WSOPC ring his new highest cash.
Two-time WSOPC winner Mo Nuwwarah comes into the day with the second largest stack at 3,220,000. Nuwwarah’s prowess as a player is known throughout the poker world as he has proven himself in a variety of formats and gametypes, including NLH. Starting out as the chip leader early in the day, he navigated as the largest stack throughout the majority of the day, only dipping slightly at the end. He looks to put to use his experience for his third WSOPC title.
Third in chips is the elder statesmen of the players left, Michael Henery who sits with 2,400,000. Henery’s unconventional style of poker has proven for his opponents to navigate. With over 51 years of poker tournament experience, this run has proven to be Henery’s best WSOP finish in his career. He is one of the two players left looking for their first WSOPC ring.
David Hengen has been on this stage before, having final tabled the WSOPC in Hammond in 2016 where he finished 8th place for $43,125. The two-time WSOPC ring winner comes into the day with 1,920,000 and wishes to add a first WSOPC main event title to his already illustrious resume. A timely double up late in the day against Matthew Dodd gave him a stack for fourth place on the leaderboard.
Coming off of two cashes already this week is Minnesota player Matthew Dodd, who comes into the day with 1,800,000. Like Garles, Dodd spent the majority of the tournament on the short stack, grinding away. With three tables left, Dodd found a double up to crack Max Havlish’s aces with queens, and late in the night there were many swings as he found himself chip leader briefly, before losing a pot to Nuwwarah to end in fifth place. A relative newcomer to the WSOPC scene, Dodd has been making a name for himself this week and will look to add to his burgeoning resume a WSOPC main event title.
Last but certainly not least is Daniel Lowery who sits with 1,395,000. Lowery’s 14 WSOPC rings speak for themselves as the Arkansas native has been playing poker on the circuit for well over a decade. Lowery spent time as the chip leader, short stack, then chip leader again as the second day of play proved to be a swingy one. The only player at the final table within striking distance of Maurice Hawkins and Ari Engel, the poker world will watch with great interest as Lowery looks to potentially tie the all-time ring record.
